Vegas Pro is the main program where everything is put together. Depending on what's on screen it can range from just splicing clips and syncing them or having to remake entire scenes from scratch. On top of Vegas Pro a lot of effects and other assets come from other programs such as Cinema 4D, Blender, and After Effects. Years of War, being probably the most difficult remake in the series, has a lot of 3D models most of which were remade and animated in Cinema 4D, including the white and black model coming in at 1:43, the moving models at 3:28, and the colored mountains at 4:55, mirrored horizontally of course to have one at both the top and bottom of the screen. Blender was also used for some of the 3D models including the stair scene at 4:20, the weird morphing model at 4:38, and the falling Kirby's at 3:45, which were layered on top of each other in a separate Vegas file to duplicate them. After Effects was used on various occasions in the project but mainly for it's effects. Some of the things we did in After Effects were using it's pixel motion frame blending to smooth out short and or low framerate clips, to allow us to stretch a clip to a desired length with out the choppiness of low framerate, and the RGB displacement glitches during the name box scene in the beginning of this video. Speaking of the name box. Text boxes were a big part of this part too. The name box in the intro was completely remade by hand in a seperate Vegas file using solid colors and then masking them, layered with the text on top, the moving sprite, and the animation on the letter selection. The second textbox, the one at 2:36, was mostly remade by hand as well, each sentence was animated to appear letter by letter by taking each sentence and masking it with keyframes allowing each letter to appear one at a time at a certain frame. The background, as well as the girl, are both from the real show visuals posted online elsewhere, and the guy is also from the real show visuals, just drawn over in pixel art to keep the artstyle. If you have any other questions hit me up, I'd be more than happy to talk. And sorry for the long message!

It's a shame Porter doesn't like this song of his, IMO it's one of his most underrated works, so we'll probably never hear it live again.

***** its ok and why where the kirbys like faceless or something like that
They had three black circles covering it's face on the model. I figure it was to avoid copyright issues in the real show, not certain though.
+HuntroxicMusic and one more question in 2:18 what where those things
Not sure what they are exactly, just a model used various times in the live show.
;)
Why it looks like vaporwave clips?
The visuals at the live concert were more Fire Emblem and less Phoenix Wright.
Why is RUclips recommending epilepsy to me?
It's the good kind of epilepsy
Okay, I l've all of these songs but this one. The beginning sounds like my old music and makes me very uncomfortable; it's terrible
