This is a message to the family of Kevin Von Erich I understand the loss that you have endured and I would like for you to know that they are definitely and eternally enjoying heaven and I want you to know that they want you to be at peace knowing that you have done right my reason behind that Mr Von Erich is because God blessed you with a wife and he also blessed you with four children and 13 grandchildren I believe that the Von Erich curse is over because you've always been determined to be a family man and the one thing I Like About You in general is that you are both a wrestler for God and definitely a wrestler on Earth but the greatest reward God has given you is the family you have around you and the brothers you hold in your heart. Which is why I like to say may God bless you Kevin Von Erich and your wife Pam and my God bless your expanding family.

This scene shows how the cycle has officially been broken. Where they learn that it’s ok for a man to cry.
Not being able to embrace your emotions mainly destroyed this family. Everytime one of them was sick, addicted, scared or lost. They always said, “Yes I’m all good, I’ll see you soon”
By the time they finally admitted something was wrong…. They had already checked out mentally and was all but too late to save them.

Just watched this movie for the first time today. As a man, this hits home hard. A lot of us were brought up to hold things in, man up, feelings weren’t talked about, and “depression isn’t real” (at least in my family it wasn’t).
To watch Kevin lose his lifelines 1 by 1 due to the way they were brought up by their father and the pressure they felt to hold it in rather than just talk about things before it was too late was just heartbreaking, especially when he says at the beginning of the movie what his family means to him.. then to take the family he started on his own with Pam and be vulnerable in front of his kids unlike his own father ever was… man it makes you appreciate your family more. Whether they’re blood related or brothers from other mothers.. reach out and check on your loved ones. You never know what battles people are going through

In April 2022, I watched Ross and Marshall Von Erich main event an MLW show at Gilley's Dallas. Gilley's Dallas is probably less than three miles where the old Dallas Sportatorium used to be. I watched Kevin's sons main event a show in Dallas just how the Von Erichs did back in the day with WCCW. I am proud of the fact that I witnessed the Von Erichs main event a match in Dallas like their Dad, Uncles, and Grandpa did back in the day. I got that VON ERICH experience as a lifelong fan of pro wrestling. I am so grateful. After the show, Ross and Marshall walked up to me and I shook their hand. I only wish Kevin had been at that show. By the way, I used to deliver pizza at Lake Dallas/Shady Shores where the Von Erichs lived back in the day. When I'd drive close by where Fritz's ranch used to be...I'd always feel emotional because of all the tragedies.
This scene makes me cry, but I continue to watch it. God bless and LONG LIVE the Von Erichs.

2018 i was in the hospital for the 3rd time in a 51/50, i saw a friend from highschool who was in there and another friend too, we all left feeling more positive only that 3 months later one of the friends hung herself in her garage only to be discovered by her mom, a couple weeks later the other friend committed suicide as well...words can't explain how hard that was and to be honest i sometimes have survivals guilt, like why am i still here, but you gotta keep going

This scene especially seeing it twice in theaters still hit me and my gosh I'm glad Kevin overcame the pain from the tragic losing all of his brothers.
May our Heavenly Father bless the entire family of Kevin Von Erich ❤👏

I was a huge wrestling fan in the 1980's and early 90's. I would always watch World Class Wrestling and the Von Erich's were the stars of that territory. I was in shock every time one of the brothers died. Kevin was my favorite and I was so afraid that he would die too like his bothers. I really believe that becoming a family man saved his life. He'll always be their brother and I sincerely hope that he has buried any amount of survivor's guilt that he harbors.

The first time Zac Efron was legit to me was when he played Ted Bundy. The Iron Claw cements him as being well on his way to iconic.

Fuck that shit, Kevin Von Erich is my brother - not by blood but by bond because of the wacky and wonderful world of professional wrestling, of which I am so grateful to have been a part of for 18 amazing years. It’s a young man’s game but many young men in that game don’t become old men so I am thankful that Kevin became an old man.
God bless Kerry, David and Chris. What stories they would have to tell Fritz.

I think his kids just saved him with that. My son did something similar for me not soon after a very nasty divorce that kept me here.

Just realized this. I know that in real life Kevin lost more than 3 brothers but in the movie it only shows 3. Notice the 3 trees out in front of the house inside the fence. Those are his 3 brothers living at his ranch with him.
