Ok, this might make it easier for some people. It took me awhile to understand it as the game isn't clear at f'ing all. I hope this helps. 1. When a character kills a mob it gives a DoT debuff that also is necessary for killing boss and you need multi stacks of that debuff. (DO NOT CLEANSE DOT DEBUFF). 2. Characters whether from passive or active skills (most heal spells normally have a dispel) and Gear (especially mimir's war ax) that dispel can essentially wipe you. 3. Probably the easiest strat is if you have a built Cherie especially 2x spec out but at least with the 3c so she can fully heal herself as debuffs can hurt especially when contending with the boss. Also, bring a couple of characters with miracle (aoe heal spell that doesn't dispel and gives nice buffs) to heal cherie when she gets hit with boss's attacks also if you have an act again character like Flo that can also give an off a small heal that doesn't dispel . Oh and I will say again if you use mimir's war ax take it off (I don't have ragnarok, yep still a noob). I used seal guardian.
Does NOT work anymore. I think the stage has been buffed even more. Warlock now ONESHOTS viliger and most of the lv 70 team. BufF you get is also BUGGED. Does not matter how much buff stacks(Blood Lure), ignore def, def break etc you have or put on warlock, my team (lvl 70 decently built) still do ONLY 40 dmg. My Rozalia solo cleared most of enemies on the map and she still did only 40dmg. This stage is BROKEN.
Actually if you just hit lv70, how much Int or atk is on your characters? If it is very low due to lack of bonds or enchants, you will not do much damage even if the enemy is debuffed. Similarly: 1. survival is based heavily on having lv50 equipment and good enchants. 2. You can't stack breaks on enemies. It only applies once. 3. So the only way is to have 1 long range character have all the stacks of the debuff blood lure be your damage dealer. If you spread them out, nobody has enough stats to break through the enemy mob. You need 1 hero with -60/80% defense or mdef to kill
Yeah, this one had me going over it a few times. I wrote a small paragraph above. And I just let the villager die as he is useless. I am guessing your rozalia either got healed by other characters that dispels the DOT debuff that appears only after you kill a mob or that character (I don't have her) has some gear or mechanic that clears the debuff.
