Pretty heavy surface noise on this one, but it soon begins to fade into the background (after 20 secs or so). It’s all good though, just adds a bit of character, right? 😄 Absolutely love this track anyway! What a tune!
I wanted to say thank for taking the immense amount of time it must have taken to upload all these records. As a trance DJ in the turn of millennium, I had quite the collection of vinyl, only to lose a huge amount of records when my flight bag was stolen from a friend's car at a party. I'm sure you can imagine how hard it is to try to find all the tracks that were lost. Your channel has already turned up a couple that I've been looking for for decades.
Paul Oakenfold. Gatectasher. Lotherton Hall. 1999. Arguably the best set of all time. Unbelievable, check out if you get a chance or probably have many times or where actually there?? This is mixed in with I think Jonn Vesta, Gull, then then into the best version of Mauro Pictto, Lizard I have ever heard. Thanks for your work. Love these. 🏴🏴🏴
3:00 Man, what I would give to experience those breakdowns again. Nostalgia, epicness, uplifting, driving... The shivers... the novelty of all this beautiful electronic sounds and mixes, and probably the main element: how YOUNG we were! I have a sweet spot for those golden years, a part of me will always live there in those dark clubs, the hundreds of parties (not sure if I cross the 1k mark), the people hugging you out of nowhere, the whistles, the absurdly strong and delicious pills (not all the time, music and the whole vibe was my thing) that, even if artificially, gave us for a moment a glimpse of how it would be if everyone loved and cared for each other, as a collective. And we danced, we danced ´till the morning, for all eternity...
I think Oakey single-handedly made this track famous among trance DJ’s, I heard him play it multiple times at Cream, got a copy by chance while on holiday in Barcelona! 😀

That mix from this to Madagascar is spine tingling. I hunted for years for this 12" with the wrong name Tekasva - Last Trip To Parade but got my copy about 15 years ago for €17. It's in the bank vault 😉
Listening to this at 5:25am in the morning. Nostalgia when this was dropped back in the clubs early in the morning when the sun comes up :) Thanks for the upload, great track.
Truly, thank you for uploading this. The feelings from fond memories from a simpler time in my life brought back by this track can't be put into words. My only regret is that I can only give a single like.
There was a time that this record was impossible to find, even in digital format. I remember I spent several weeks searching for it, when eventually somebody in the Tranceaddict community finally shared a copy. Seems like one of those tracks that everybody loves and is part of that legendary Oakenfold set, but it seldom showed up anywhere else.
Talking of tunes , when he first dropped Transa Prophase, which ended up as you know his closing tune in back room Cream , it stopped me dead in my dance , serious the mind went into overdrive, I had that tune on a b-side of an obscure acid dance record ! gave it away as a surprise gift to a serious Oakey train spotter !
Discovered this in 2018 after Neptune Project & The Noble Six played their "Interstellar" remix of "Last Trip To Paradise" at Luminosity Beach Festival 2018. Both original and that remix are great, proper trance!

I totally agree, mankind should live drugged, there would be no wars, nothing bad, just fellowship and happiness.
That’s beautiful dude ❤
Loved this European sound. It’s what first got me into slower bpm mixing, the u.k stuff was very good, but this stuff was great
massively underrated track. Props to Oakey for being the only one I heard use it back then

Only ever heard Oakey play this in his Lotherton Hall set, brilliant tune!!

I thought I was the only guy on earth who loved this track that much. It's nice to find out that I was wrong.
Yeah man!!!
One of the tunes in Oakie’s best trance set of all time at Lotherton Hall. Marvellous
Probably the best night out I've ever had! Listened to that set all the time after
Used it at Homelands 99 as well. Epic!

What an absolute belter. I think I've heard this before in a live set before, can't remember for the life of me which one it is.
I'd take a guess at a Paul Oakenfold set as he seemed to be one of very few to play this one :)
