Had long hair for two years. At the start I didn't feel like myself. I didn't feel confident. But after a year It changed. You own it. And you forget what people think about it. When I did cut it off. I actually lost that confidence. It took awhile for me to adjust to short hair again. I feel less mature with short hair as I grown as a person with that long hair. Anyways this was just my experience with long hair.
The Sour Lemon Long hair, especially on men, is magical and fun. It’s also a commitment. Respect.
I'm in the process of growing it out long and has been for 7 months.
@@harambe8372 ignore other people telling you to cut it. The awkward stage is the most difficult but once you get out of it, it gets much better. People actually said it looked cool.
@@thesourlemon4058 yeah I know that I'm going for long hair and won't cut, nobody really tells me to cut it. My only problem is impatience.
The Sour Lemon I’ve been growing mine for a year and 5 months now but I might need to hack it all off for my potential new job...but I don’t want to : (

Having long hair is the most wonderful and annoying thing
at the same time.
It’s only annoying when you don’t maintain it properly. Otherwise, tie it up in a bun and forget about it lol.
Tell me about it. Im about to get all mine cut off soon
@@jeremybrown9273 ok I'm growing it out.
Agree 😂
Naz it’s annoying to maintain long hair as well. You can’t just tell people what’s annoying and what’s not annoying , lmao.
I have been growing my hair since 1 year 5 months from buz cut hairs to nearly shoulder length hairs.
People always ask me, how did I achieve these lengthy hairs? Literally, that feeling is awesome.
Longhairs, if maintain properly and groomed according to your physic, will give a good appearance than those of short hairs.

Being a long hair lover and short hair hater , I’m surprised to find that I like the new look better. The stylist didn’t go crazy and the client’s hair is still long and full with a style that suits him well.Stll can’’t believe I’m saying this.
I've been growing my hair for 4 years. I became more confident with long hair, and I really can't imagine myself with short hair again. But I'm probably going to cut just a little bit to get rid of any split ends. Amazing video as always! 🤘🏻
Been growing my hair for 7 years & i am donating tomorrow.. It is long enough to sit on if it is down so i think it was about time
This video helped ease the nerves
I've been growing my hair for 15 years and it's about 28" in length. I keep it healthy by having it trimmed regularly and using quality hair products. To have a healthy head of long hair requires a lot of patience and dedication. It only becomes "too much" when you don't have the patience to properly take care of it. Most men with long hair neglect their hair and this is why they end up looking like sasquatch.
Thank you!! I agreee
@@riveratley yep. mine is down to my belly button and it is a lot of work to maintain but totally worth it.
Do you blow dry it or let it air dry?Do you trim the sides?:)
Much like his hair, this video needs to be longer!!!!
His hair is beautiful. I love long hair on men.
Same here
@hg xob Thanks for replying. Yes I suppose all that is true, but we don't question whether short hair looks good on most men, do we? Short hair is the norm so most men wear it that way, regardless of whether it suits them.
@@susangunn885 Clean and nicely combed. I do not like messy, unkempt hair on men.
@L.M. OMG !! You are soo Right , I wish this world doesn’t make fun of boys having Long hair . 😭
Men wearing long hair is unfair
Long hair is super easy to maintain in my opinion. I do a oil soak twice month for 12 or more hours. Followed by washing and rising very well. Have not let a blade touch my hair in 3 years. I don't do any conditioning and use shampoo that is very mild. I only wash when needed. No more no less.
Hey, how's your long hair now ??
Thank you for this video. My husband has had his hair long past his waist for 33 yrs now, but he's ready for it to be shortened. I always trim it to keep it healthy and free of split or dead ends, but since he now wants it shortened this is a great video to show me how to do it. Thank you.
I've always been a sucker for men with long hair.... and a healthy head of hair looks much better than neglected heads of hair, for sure!
My hair is about as long as his final cut is. It’s been growing for about 20 months now. And I love it. Some days it’s frustrating when it’s not wanting to cooperate. Especially in the summer time with all the damn humidity. But overall I love having my hair long. There’s just so much you can do with it. Man buns, half up half down buns, middle part, off center part, side part, side part with an ear tucked, both ears tucked high volume part, no volume parts. It’s really a crazy journey.
Imagine Joe rocking this hairstyle.. 😂😂😂

great to see a video of actual long hair haircut, not chopping off all of it. love this. hope u can make one of long hair layered haircut! :)
YES! Finally a video with a guy with long hair.
I've been growing my hair now for months now and I love it. I don't need to put product in my hair to keep it nice.
You should do a middle part/leonardo inspired haircut video like this! I think they're coming back into style big time and a lot of people would love to see it. Loved the video keep it up Joe!
My husband is native and has long hair like this, Im trying to learn how to help him manage it :) thank you for the video
100% agree. There comes a point, that is different for everyone, where beautiful long hair starts to look a little straggly. I think it depends on the hair, the person, the lifestyle, etc. There is a length that still looks long and healthy.
omg your hair! it is so beautiful! Men’s long hair tends to be much healthier than women’s bc they weren’t marketed scalp poison their entire lives.
I had my hair his length before the cut.. long, healthy hair. But due to chemo I lost it all. But it has started to grow back and I will be letting it grow back out long again, along with the upkeep to maintain its health.
He looks amazing. I love long hair
Great tutorial! My son had hair down to his waist. But he buys cheap hair ties, which broke some of his hair around his shoulder blades. I ended up compromising with him to an inch below the shoulder blades and doing a really subtle layer to blend it. It turned out great. Even though he loved it he probably won't let me cut it for another year. :D
He looks better before. If I had hair that long I’ll just have it trimmed a bit. I’ll just have half an inch of and having layers. My goal is to have my hair to the bottom of my triceps
I have hair this long now, its really not that hard to maintain if you're guided right. Get essential oils which go with your hair. I personally use kukui oil, kukui oil shampoo/conditioner, and would go with paul mitchell hair serum. I dont use any sort of heat either. Works great for me!
Long enough to match the hair length young Jesus had after the haitcut^
Long hair for the win! I'm growing mine out right now, it's nearly as long as his is at the end. I have in the past had hair as long as his in the start though!
@Quinn Brophy nice! I might suggest a bun though, depending on your hair type. Buns tend to look a bit more badass, imho.
My hair was that length or longer. Grew it out with the sole purpose of donating it, but loved the look. It was weird getting a haircut after all that time. Donated 16 inches.
Now my hair is long enough to donate maybe 8 inches, but I’ll let it grow a while longer to stay past that awkward stage of hair growth.
This upcoming December will make 3 years I've grown out my hair. In that time I have not had my hair cut in any way, nor do I use any products and I have never used a blow dryer. After seeing this video it has made me wonder if I should go get the ends cut off, I didn't know that the ends of my hair are probably damaged. Thank you for this video!
been growing my hair out since 2019 and it’s pretty long now, maybe just a little bit longer than this guy’s was. haven’t had anyone look at or touch my hair at all in these 5 years. no trims, no maintenance, nothing.
been thinking of getting my first haircut with long hair but i’m scared i won’t know what to ask for. figure i’ll tell em i want a trim with some layers and a more pronounced part line and hope for the best
I HAVE WAITED FOR A LONG HAIR MAN VIDEO BY DANIEL SINCE A LONG TIME....BIG PLEASURE WATCHING IT ON BLUMAAN CHANEL, I HAVE LONG HAIR MYSELF, THANKS, HELPS A LOT
what was applied on his hair to get that messy look?
Spunk.
I’ve Been growing mines for the past 4 yrs and I like my long hair. I only trim the ends once a year to keep it looking healthy and thick.
Yes I have long hair and I am loving it ... ☮️
I shaved my head to zero last year and now im growing it as long as I can ! I definately need it trimmed like this guy had !
4 years.. Hair at my lower back.. I like it so far.. I'm picky about my hair cut so after moving I started growing my hair.. It's just to far to see my barber after years of founding the right person. I be in and out like 10-15 minutes and with me tipping him well all the time no matter how many people were there when I got in he always made me the next person up.
I stopped getting my hair cut around 3 years ago, when my friend who had cut it for years got cancer. I've had one cut since then (cut to shoulder length). It's really been liberating for me. Some people are bothered by it, and others love it. But it comes down to the point that it's nobody's business but my own. I find it less trouble than it was when it was short, and I was trying to maintain a style.
I currently have about 20 cm on top with shaven sides and back. I love it! My favorite hairstyle up to now, esspecially because the hair is curly/wavy.
My hair is getting close to the length of his cut. Kinda miss my undercut though.
I've been growing for 7 months so not even close to his, but I don't miss my undercut
@@jatinmulgund9476 it's not luck😂
Patients not luck!😉
my current hair is the longest I've ever had it, pretty much the length of his after the cut. I gotta say, long hair is a lot less maintenance than short hair, so I have no intention of going back anytime soon
If I had this guys hair, the last place I'd be is in a barber shop. So beautiful 😍
My hair is down the middle of my back and it's becoming too much. About to take it back up to shoulder length.
Did you cut it
OMG the model’s hair is fabulous. I envy him. Awesome stylist too. Looks fantastic. 👍🙂
Nice to see a long hair get a cut and not a chop off!! my hair is longer than An0maly's purposefully and i enjoy it. There is a limit to length, like i wont go past my hips thats just too long but its to my waist at the moment and i love it.
Yeah my hair goes about to the bottom of my shoulder blades (just above half my back) and the ends are super dead. I’ve been growing it for about 3 years and I’m finally getting it cut in 20 days.
LOVE this video, I am currently growing my hair out and as much of a pain it is, I love it. I've been wanting to try cloud control to see if it helps tame my hair a little.
It's honestly amazing , I have long hair but it easily falls flat. When using it it looks thicker and volumenous
Andrew Cruz awesome, thank you for the feedback on it!
For growing long hair after doing takla what to do cut the hair or let them grow for how many monts we should leave hairs for growing
I have hair probably just a bit longer than his right now and I adore it! I have it two ways usually: I style it with product if I’m going out or socialising and I also try french pleats, half up and down looks when I’m not doing anything or working. I get regular-ish trims and get long layers through it so I’m able to style it properly. I am unsure how long I’m growing it to but you can for sure bet I’ll be keeping on top of it to ensure it has some sort of life in it. This video was really good, makes a change to see a long haired guy. :)
I know I am never gonna have this length.....but it's blumaan video .. can't help myself here
I've not cut my hair since the beginning of February of 2018 and it was army cut short. My length now is the length he has at the end of his hair cut. I definently want to grow it a few inches longer. It can get annoying but there is also a connection you get with your hair when u get long hair like I have or the anomaly in the video.
Mine is past the middle of my back now.... lol I need to do something with it.
He has the most gorgeous hair!!
I like having my blond hair long, it actually serves me well in the winter, thick and long enough that it provides thermal insulation, but truthfully i never style it, i lives it's own life so it is on the wild side lol.
His after cut length is my current length n i am thinking to get the same cut so mine will reach neck length !? Correct? Or should i get a little fine trim so it will look just like him
Is this a one length hair cut or did you add layers/face framing? Currently growing my hair out to this cut’s length and want to communicate the look exactly to my stylist. Slainte!
You'd think those who can grow longer hair would realize that not only does longer hair look WAY better on many guys but that it give the guy his own natural individual style rather then the usual shorter more expensive to maintain hair with the cuttings and hair care products often needed to keep the shorter hair style, nice cut for the client here with longer hairstyle
I'm about to roll into my 3rd year of growing my hair. I've gotten my hair cut maybe 2-3 times while growing it plus a undercut, witch is cool but I'm going to grow my hair out again!
do i need to cut my side hair to get this hair style or just grow it
I love having long hair. I was walking down the street and people driving by looked at my most of their jaws dropped especially the men
I’m in the exact same position! I’m getting my hair cut tomorrow but it currently goes down to just past my nipples. I have been growing it for 4 and a half years and it feels like quite a big commitment to cut it but it’s got to the stage that I just never wear it down in public because there’s just too much of it and it can look a little feminine (especially as my hair is quite straight). I love wearing it down around the house and when I’m working at my computer but it’s just a bit heavy when I put it up and I would love to wear it down again. Just so strange, after all this time my goal has been to grow it and after every length that I reached I just kept wanting to take it further, I don’t mind the Jesus or lion comments, I think it’s funny and long hair will always make me feel more like I’m more myself (I could never go short hair permanently again - as in short back and sides). Now it is time for a change and although it’s scary to do so, it will be exciting and different! I just hope I’m not disappointed! Though I’m sure I could grow it back again in less than a year if I really wanted to. Wish me luck! Who knows how I’ll feel!😄
How much did you get cut off?
@@damienthomas4327 About 5 inches, makes all the difference!😄
@@jakelongartist Hey, how's your long hair length now ?
@@Gaurav.P0 It's just longer than how it was when I posted that comment, I did cut it to just past my shoulders but I preferred it longer and regretted it so just grew it back😄
@@fearless608 Nice! I loved it but eventually decided to cut it all and donate it. Managed to donate 18 inches! There are times where I miss it but everything is so much easier now that I have it short!😂
I just recently decided to start growing my hair out, it's around 4-5 inches long as of right now (I kinda started from a buzz cut) but I'm kinda lost on what I need to do to keep it healthy and looking good. In the past I never cared about my hair too much since most of the time I've always had a buzz cut.
Hey, how's your long hair now ??
@@Gaurav.P0 it's starting to look a little frizzy, so I think it's time for a trim. But it's about 10 inches now. Looks a little shorter than that because of how curly it is. I'm often asked if I use a curling iron lol.
Thanks for asking, I appreciate it. Let's me look back at my old comment, been two years, that's crazy.
His hair looks so smooth
Instead of cutting his hair he should let it grow long
I wish I was the barber guy so I can feel his smooth hair
I love long hair women and men to cut there long hair
I have long curly hair and getting the ends cuts after not cutting the hair for several years is one of the best feelings in the world for a dude with long hair. I had the Chris Cornell late 80s long hair for a bit, but now I just prefer the Ross Poldark style of medium length hair where I cut the split ends every month or so. My hair when it was super long, felt lifeless.
I currently am rocking the long hair. Mine sits just below mid chest. Been trying to find good product to kill the frizz/dryness that happens right after showering without weighing it down since my hair is considered fine. I love my hair but it pisses me off sometimes lmao. Also very afraid to have it trimmed. Last 3 times i had it trimmed they butchered it.
My hair is very long and curly. Keeping the frizz at bay is a process! I'd like to cut to An0moly's length but my big gets BIG when it's shorter. Do you recommend Keratin straightening?
I need help, I have straight black hair, and it’s long, little but shorter then my shoulders. I want it silky smooth, but I don’t know what I should use to get it like that
Not gonna lie, I like AnOmaly with any hair length but the cut looks great.
I fell in love with a man when he got long hair. I really love his long hair and it just gets longer! :) Lucky me to be able to witness such eyecandy.
It's impossible to simultaneously maintain and enjoy long hair at the same time.
-Hairbergs uncertainty principle
Tell me about it.. I'm on the verge of giving up after a year. The awkward stage is hitting hard...
@@hououinkyouma5372 Don't give up! Make sure you visit a good salon every 4-5 months to make sure your hair is growing well and healthy (and to cut off some dead/split ends). I am finally fully 100% past the awkward stage. When I use conditioner and shampoo and I let my hair dry, it looks super glorious. Girls are mesmerized by it as well. Be sure to ask some independent people (like your hair stylist) for their honest opinion on your hair. Although long hair is glorious, manly, unique and awesome on some men, it might be that it just doesn't suit you. If your face is very round/oval/thin or your hair is too curly/too thin it might just make you look like a homeless guy. ASK YOUR SALON ARTIST FOR ADVICE! (and go to a good salon. You can go more expensive, since you don't need to go that often with long hair).
Yes! This exactly the transformation I want to do on my hair I'm in basically the exact same situation
Literally going in today for this exact thing. Thanks for posting. Helped me make my decision ;)
I personally think that men with long hair look exceptionally nice.

I have hair a little past my shoulders and is like wavy/curly and let me tell you long hair is the best thing but also very annoying like I have to put it in a ponytail when im gonna eat or sometimes it feels hot so I put it up and when its windy it gets messy Oh and don't even get me started in the car with the windows down super annoying having your hair go everywhere but I love long hair and I will never cut it

I’m a 35 year old male. I’ve had long hair since I was about eight. My hair is a very dark natural brown/black and it’s Cut and styled in layers. Thanks Cindy Crawford early 90s or Sebastian Bach from skid row in late 80s or early 90s hahaha ;) anyways my shortest layer is about to my bottom lip and my longest layer as a little past my belly button around my waist or about to my belt basically. I’ve had a past my ass before but it’s just too Long and too much hair especially in the summer. So are usually get a good haircut right before summer and then grow out the rest of the year getting trims and related maybe 4-6 Times a year reshaping what not. I’ll try to watch it every 5 to 7 days except in the summer I watched a little more and the winner I watched about every 10 days and I try to make it two weeks but usually gets too greasy. I never going to the pool or hot tub and get wet in places like that avoid any shampoo or conditioner that has alcohol or sulfates or use no product other than Argan oil and different types of oils vitamin E olive oil treatments Keratin oil never blow dryer to just let it dry naturally I am not really using product to style it. I love have a long hair when I was a kid and even a teenager my mom so that she would abandon me if I ever cut it, she always loved it too lol and she said she always wanted a daughter and I was kind of like having one lmao
Bruh you must have some pretty straight or slightly wavy hair that really suits you since you've never blow dryed it before and had it for so long😁💪🔥
I've actually been growing my hair out since late 2016 and it used to be really thick with a lot of volume to it, but now it's becoming very brittle and thin looking. Before growing my hair out I wasn't really that confident with my appearance and I've had tons of people tell me that they can't imagine me with short hair, I've been trying to figure out what I can do stop my hair from falling out because I know it will eventually & it will hit me hard. Because I don't think it's fare for guy's to lose their hair at an early age, it's just not for me when I'm in my early twentys 😐

Been growing my hair out for 5 yrs. Trimmed the bottom last year about 4 inches. It past my waistline and "chopped" 6 inches bc the bottom became too thin. I had alot of hair fallout from the roots after shampooing & conditioning... frustrating. Is that normal?
I usually grow my hair for 2 years, cut it off, donate it, repeat process. My hairs down to my waist atm and should get it cut at the end of the month. Long hair gets annoying/hot if u live in a hot country - but I’m also too lazy to style my short hair, I like the easiness of tying back long hair or having it in a bun.
