Africa has different Accents
He knows he is African but they dont..
Even different provinces or states within the said country has different accents
*People there is no African accent that's an Nigerian accent*
Just like there is no 1 African accent, there is no 1 Nigerian accent. The state I was born has over 30 different cultures alone and the country has 36 states.

@@jutsu712 Yeah that's the whole point. People are not familiar with caricatures. The point is not the accuracy, the point is to make the joke more believable. 90% of us don't know each other's accents anyway, so if he says it's Persian accent, that's what we hear.

There is no African accent because there are 54 countries in Africa and more than 1500 languages so an accent depends in which country one lives in and which language that person speaks. Trevor was making a Nigerian accent in this video.

Tell him come to St Lucia and he will know the real Lucian accent. He seem to think every Caribbean Islander has a Jamaican accent.
@Eureka Not critical, just honest. If he is gonna try to do the accent, he should do it well not some generic 'Jamaican' one. Jamaica is not the Caribbean. Just as he makes an effort to get others right,(he is known for his accents and generally I LOVE his work) he should put the effort for ours as well. And we as his audience need to correct him when he makes the mistake. I repeat that accent was a miss.
That's not a Jamaican accent either tho

@@decoloniz_afro That's not a Nigerian accent. Nigeria has over 400 languages with so many different accent of spoken English. I am yet to see a Nigerian speak that way. My guess is he is doing what we consider a Pan African accent.

I think he did well in most of them. The Japanese one sound off, but the rest get a passing grade. That being said, I’d be impressed if I manage one of those accents after a whole month of practicing, so I’m cheering for you, Mr. Noah.
