Sarah g. is the original queen of pinoy pop. Gary v. is the original king of pinoy pop. Long before sb19 and Bini became famous. Gary v. And Sarah G. ang nagpauso ng pinoy pop.
With all the many good things about SG, one thing that makes me a little sad is napaka-elusive nya. With RVA, even at the peak of her career, evident talaga yung pagiging generous nya sa iba't-ibang artists. Madalas present si Regine sa mga concerts ng upcoming artists whether sikat, papasikat na or hindi pa. Si SG, despite her picture of humility and kindness, parang mostly absent sya mga milestones ng mga artists who look up to her, even nga sa mga contemporaries nya. Parang napaka-expensive nya i-invite or i-guest. I used to take it na kasi naman very introvert lang din kasi sya, but still, 20 years na sya sa industry, nasa mentor stage na din sana sya. Parang unless Araneta or MOA Arena ang venue, hindi nagpapa-guest si Sarah sa concerts. Kalungkot.
Guests siya sa concert ni Stephanie, few years back..And remember she is Stefhanie's coach at the Voice Kids Philippines....And lately, she was a guest at Darren's concert,actually last June 1st.....
Magkaiba sila ni rva, c sarah super busy nyan kaliwat kanan ang work nyan. Kapag free sya nagguguest sya like kay rva, zephanie, darren, etc. Even sa mga free concert for foundations umaattend yan basta wala syang prior commitment. Wag mo itulad sa iba.
Kasi hindi siya tunay na magaling. Mas magaling pa lahat ng Contemporaries niya, maski mga Mentee niya. Para mukha siyang "Royalty", kaya hard-to-reach siya. Dahil yun lang meron siya. Image na akala mo Powerful. Nauto naman ng Management niya ang mga Pinoy. na-intimidate naman mga Pinoy sa Mediocrity niya. LOL.
Kasi hindi siya tunay na magaling. Mas magaling pa lahat ng Contemporaries niya, maski mga Mentee niya. Para mukha siyang "Royalty", kaya hard-to-reach siya. Dahil yun lang meron siya. Image na akala mo Powerful. Nauto naman ng Management niya ang mga Pinoy. na-intimidate naman mga Pinoy sa Mediocrity niya. LOL.
She's a good performer but not a good speaker. You can feel her insecurities and doubts by the way she speaks. She should get a public speaking/English tutor.
Sarah G is not a public speaker. She is a singer-actress. Having doubts and insecurities on herself makes her stay grounded and humble despite the fame and accolades of her career. If not of her humility, I would wonder if she will last for decades in the industry. The timid and humble Sarah sets her apart from other stars. That's the real and authentic Sarah. You cannot dictate a person to be like what you want.
