@samf.s8786ive been listening to charli for years now and i think ur both right in different ways. yes charli has been making this type of music but it is different than what most people know to expect from her (which would either be boom clap or brat if u just want surface level). i feel like it being orchestral especially with this song specifically makes her lyricism feel so much heavier and very deep as opposed to like pink diamond (my favorite from charli) i think people being exposed to this side of charli even if its just for a movie i think is better than not

This song has been haunting me ever since I left the movie theatre. Watching Heathcliff clutch on to Cathy so longingly as the credits roll in and this song goes on, I just remember being unable to move, trying to accept but everything is so cathartically painful and cold. I don’t care what everyone else says but the movie was a visual treat and I would go back and watch it again anytime.
