i only have like 3 extremes (one of them being Misty Mountains) but i really dont think this is a good first extreme. Its very timing focused and when I originally tried this as my first, i wasnt able to do the timings well at all. In like 100 attempts from 0 i only made it to 23% twice. I went and beat cataclysm first and then came back to it because cata made me more adjusted to timings like that, which made it wayyyy easier. imo, beat something else first, like cata or icdx.
It 100% depends on your skillset, go for an easy extreme that matches your favorite type of gameplay/the one that you perform the best. You're good at wave and flying? Go for Cataclysm or something like that. You're good at timings? Go for Misty or something like that. It's that easy.

I mean I did it as my first and I found it one of the easiest options for an extreme. To be fair though timings are my skillset
