Please i bought the MOVE 4k a while ago on amazon, the Auto Tracking function is working fine, but its always on wide view of the subject. there is no handle for closer capture of the target, like we have in other auto tracking cameras. I mean there should be a way to capture only the head and upper body region only . Please do you have any updates to fix this? Thanks

Thats why it's important to normalize the audio, a very basic thing to do 😅

One of the issues I keep seeing with all these PTZ offerings is compatibility. Specifically, lack of Mac OS compatibility. Canon, for example, can only be used by a Windows compatible app or its remotes. Does this one work with Mac OS?

This camera is compatible with the most popular operating systems: Windows 7 / 8.1 / 10 / 11 / Mac OS, Linux, Android. >Mark

4k .. will not be 4k if we do not have all devices and internet upload speed
and the streaming application to be 4k supported.

Correct, however raising your bottle neck point at the source can give you room to grow in the other things later. It also provides an extremely clean image when downsizing. Also zooming in on a 4k image for 1080P output is another 2x zoom ontop of your native optical zoom before any pixels get unpleasantly stretched.

I can barely hear the audio.

Same here. After watching Linus report about arc usage for 1 months, then watch this video, it barely hear the sound. My PC at 52% volume, it should be ok in my end.

Sweet. Does anyone know if the 1080p also tracks or is it just the 4k? I am still not ready to fully jump into the NDI with my setup but really want to gain the advantage of the larger sensor and lower light capability.

    • @BandH

The PTZ Optics 1080p model does not have the tracking feature, only the newer 4K model.

@@BandH the SDI output on the new 4k models only output up to 1080p/60. I was curious if the auto tracking was only if you were in 4k mode.

Our previous PTZ Optics cameras seem to have a minimum speed far too fast when zoomed in on our stage for creative and smooth panning. Do the motors in the Move series have better levels of control over the speed of movement? Judging by the video above, I'm optimistic but still on the fence. We control our current units with an iPad App and the movements at the lowest settings are too fast for us in some situations where we want a slow crawling creative panning or zooming motion.

Judging by how they haven't replied, I doubt it is better

What, no 4k over SDI? That is a bit of a deal breaker. If you're an existing SDI shop using 1080p PTZ cameras, why would you even consider this "4k" camera as a replacement, as the only benefit offered is the subject tracking feature (you are stuck at 1080p60 because of the lack of a 12G-SDI output). Thanks for the heads-up on this "pseudo-4K" camera. LOL

What is the maximum cable length to send audio and video?

    • @BandH
      @BandH  Год назад

for HDMI it is not recommend to have a cable longer than 25ft. When you are using SDI, that cable can run up to 300ft 4K video, HD video it can run longer.

@@BandH This camera does not support 4k over SDI, only 1080p60. Please fix your comment and product listing to make this abundantly clear (unless you like getting product returns)

@@bigfan007 EXACTLY. He even stated in the Video that the SDI output does NOT support 4k so his comment above made NO SENSE.
