I'm back on the road now but last year I was an instructor at a driving school and I always recommended your videos to my students. You also help me constantly become a better driver. So thank you. No matter how long I drive, I always consider myself a student eager to learn something new and your videos do just that.
If you have enough room to pull off a U-Turn, you can do this, if you don't know that, your shouldn't be trying this maneuver. Most trucks a do a U-Turn with 65 feet without stopping.
Thanks for these lessons. After seeing this I have used it at my Sysco drops and it has changed everything! Fortunately for me I drive in Alaska and the lot is covered in snow for 6-7 months each year so it doesn't flat spot the tires.
@@MyTruckingSkills thank you for all your lessons. I have often watched a video and nailed it right after. These videos give me a much better overall understanding of the trailer movement and how to manipulate.👍🏻
The app looks a little different to what you see here. I just have most things turned off. You will have 5 visible lives and there will be a timer. It's bloody killing me that it's not out yet. I'm having a lot of trouble with apple.
@@MyTruckingSkills you go two slips ahead of where you're gonna drop the trailer on your driver's side and then you do a hard right until you're facing straight, then a hard left until you're straight again. From there the trailer should be pointed diagonal to the slip and you just turn right again and then left to straighten out and from there it should be a straight line back.
This has been helpful. Thank you. I’m in hostler training right now. I downloaded the app and I’m trying to find this level/scenario. I found the s-turn setup, but I’m having trouble finding this one so I can practice. Any info is appreciated. Thanks!
I have this stop that gives me a lot of trouble basically backing into spot 13 very tight. What would be the best set up for spot 13 in a tight space. Just enough space to come down left side to turn it around. (There is a wall to the right of 13)
Blind spot feature is not helpful in those videos just my opinion I like to see the whole picture of what's going on while learning from those videos but in real life definitely need to take into consideration blind spots and get out and look
You shouldn't. If you do, it's because they were tangled or caught on something on the tractor. That is a problem that you should have caught during your pre-trip inspection. The electrical and air lines on virtually all trucks are coiled and designed to stretch as needed.

Would've been nice to have you as a trainer.. 👊👊
I do this all the time if there is space. Has become my favorite backing 🙂
How do you know if you have enough room to pull this backing off?

@@MyTruckingSkills oh...ok, thank you for replying 🙂. It looks like a great option
It's kept me out of doing a blindsided many a time
@@MyTruckingSkills I really want to try it out. Thanks, again for the video, & reply ...🙂
I struggled with that one for a long time. Now it’s absolutely clear👍 Thanks for demonstrating that whole thing graphically
Very helpful videos, number 1 on RUclips :)
You're tops, bro. Thank you and thank you and thank you one million times over.
Thank you for sharing.
Glad you like them!
Great job, you doing there! Thumbs up!
Thank you! Cheers!

So helpful ! Thanks! I'm going to start doing this instead of blind backing
I like your teaching. Thanks
I’ve been turning way too soon! Thx!!
You got this!

Thanks for your skill good job
Masterful.
Always showing me how to be a better backer and I appreciate you so much Teacher
This new view is so helpful. Hope there is a way we can try this in an app someday. Can you show us what happens in app
when we hit something?

Thanks good to know
I’m a hostler driver and that pretty much all we do is U TURNS and S TURNS
Same, I drive hostler at Amazon and they teach the S turn and this one but they call this one the J turn.
What's an "S" turn exactly?

@@MyTruckingSkills sorry if I over explained that. Lol
Ahhh, that's my go-to set up most of the time. No idea there was a name to it,
What game is this you are using is it pc or PS or Xbox what's the cost I believe it's pc
It's on PC Android or iOS.
It's called My Trucking Skills
I only drove for a year and wasn't very good at backing but for some reason I was always better at blind side backing.
Can u do this without the blind spot shadow? Please and thank you

Can you explain what “ chasing it “ means
👍👍
And the dock worker says “ it’s easy people do it all the time “

"use better if you can", The Bible, essentially
Sir where I can practice for learning skills..I mean to say is it a any game of playstore to learn skills .if it yes then tell me the name of this app
I created the game. You can get it on iOS app store and Android Google play store.

You would tear your Airlines off and disable the entire vehicle turning that shark sharp
