I love how opposite Ben and Adam are in their deckbuilding. Ben: "I'm going to do this.... No this! No wait, this! On the other hand..." Adam: "All in on Rhizome Lurker, no further questions."
@@LRRMTG Oh no absolutely, it's just humorous to me that he asks if an archetype exists when it is, in fact, so strong it's been banned haha XD the lack of knowledge about the format presents incredible irony, and it makes it all the more enjoyable

"All i know is Green/Black Golgari Midrange"- Adam. I have never felt more related to a statement than i did when i heard this. It's literally a meme at my LGS how much i play Golgari.
I love these videos! The LGS sections are my favorite, it's like Junk Wars with cards. I wish youtube allowed subtitles, it's sometimes hard for me to pick up what Adam is saying. It's just a tone/levels thing with my ears. But I rewatch these all the time so I can figure it out :)
I know to expect this given how funny LRR is, but there was not one moment when i wasn't dead from laughter. I just absolutely love all of these humans. Ben & Ben also needs some kind of segment or podcast. I don't care what it is, but I feel like it needs to happen
wow super excited to watch this! As mtg is getting less interesting in competitive formats, casual magic like this is always super fun to watch. Just embraces what MtG is all about.
@@thegis5911 there are also 10 Ally-colored legendary creatures from Legends that are Pauper legal due to Masters Edition III, hence how Cameron is able to have a legitimate Pauper Commander deck with Ramirez DePietro at the helm.

Idea for a future FNPF: Nelson vs. Wheeler w/ an Omniscience emblem, no decks, and each turn they use Gatherer to pull up a random card that they can cast. The kicker is they're not allowed to see anything other than card names and states. Essentially, random Mental Magic. It should flow at a reasonable pace, so simulating the board for the viewers shouldn't be too difficult. In exchange for this happening, I am willing to donate an amount of money to a non-profit of your choice equal to the shipping fee I would pay were I to send you 50 lbs. of identical pink card sleeves.
Is there any chance of you guys doing more of these, maybe a cheap commander challenge? There's not many videos like this (I've already watched what there is and it's not as good lol)
While not technically pauper legal, I wonder if they would have let Ben play Target Minotaur from unstable. It really is just a normal run of the mill prowess creature
I'm sad past Ben didnt start by thanking the throw from himself. We've seen the past throw to present but what's it gonna take to go present throws to past that acknowledges the throw and throws back to present?
Big fan of the LGS episodes, have you guys ever considered a Canlander LGS challenge? Like either all cards from the store on a budget or pointed cards can come from personal collections but everything else has to be from the budget at YJ.
This captured my experience with Pauper in a nutshell. I was hoping for a format where big dumb unplayables could be used, but the overwheming numbers of cantrip, counter, and tempo cards printed at common in blue create a lot of mismatches. I had a fun colorless tron deck that could kind of keep up, but expedition map was banned because of the blue tron builds dominating events. Half joking wish pauper would ban blue or let the other colors have uncommons :-P
I love how opposite Ben and Adam are in their deckbuilding.

Adam Savidan is one of my favorite human beings.
@@ktlynn177 He is a treasure and we don't deserve him.
As a fellow golgari mage Adam is a man after my own heart...that we found in a rotting corpse in the sewer
Rhizome Lurcher was a very OK card on draft... heck, it can be a sleeper hit even in Commander if you aren't playing with a crazy budget.
Whoever edited the LGS section is my hero.
Thanks! That was Matt G and Graham.
@@LRRMTG Good job to them and that on the fly commentary. Laughed out loud!
That whole section was hilarious

22:03 Hi Graham! It just...got me. Just the 5 seconds of him standing there and waving because he could get himself in the mirror too. Lmao
Graham Stark is probably the doofiest human being that has ever existed and I envy how amazing of a person he is.
@@taknarian hes definitely the bruce greene of the group
I just love the 20$ series. Especially the deckbuliding process. How strategies and plans change sometimes by 100%
Three things are inevitable. Death, taxes, and Adam playing Golgari
What about when he played mill in a 20$ challenge
@@hellsingfan89 and where do all those milled cards go to? Thats right, the graveyard ... so technically still Golgari!
@@PartisanGamer you're not wrong
Adam: "I'm an expert at the Sunk Cost Fallacy."

Finally! MY FAVORITE SERIES OTHER THAN ROAD QUEST IS BACK
So many good one-liners in this one. “The cool stepdad” “oh no, my NFTs!” 😂
WAIT! There was another LGS challenge? Hype! Preparing to engage with content!!
YOOOO lgs challenge AND singleton pauper?! this is so exciting
The ad hasn't finished and I'm already engaged!
Still can't believe I got called out for saying that no one over 35 knows what an NFT is.
Honestly though, does anyone under 35 actually know what it is either? I sure don't.
no one under 10 million in bitcoin knows what it is either

I went back and rewatched the other LGS challenges yesterday! Had to double check my notifications when this popped up! EXCITED.
Ha! RUclips was recommending me the previous installment of the 20$ challenge just yesterday. THE ALGORITHM KNOWS!
Oh boy let me interact with this content, oh great algorithm. The $20 challenge is some of my favorite content, was so stoked to see more!
This is my favorite content y'all produce. Full-stop.

I liked before even seeing a second of it. I love these types of videos
LOOOOOVE the $20 challenge videos. So glad it's back
This is cool! Happy to see this again, although one of my favourite things about last time was the cool build-arounds which singleton doesn't lend to.
I love this sort of challenges, I wish I could do this with my friends
If you're thinking about playing Turbo Fog and your question is "What's my win-con?" you probably shouldn't be playing Turbo Fog.
My favorite thing is Ben and Ben laughing like school children just randomly in the background.

YESSS, ive been waiting for another of these for so long!
The LGS bit of this is absolutely charming. Thanks for putting out content that’s eminently relatable.
I find it funny that Ben just accidentally made an izzet blitz while everyone else put thought into their decks and then won it.
seeing Nelson playing blue white bounce brings me back to when I first started magic.
wow super excited to watch this! As mtg is getting less interesting in competitive formats, casual magic like this is always super fun to watch. Just embraces what MtG is all about.
I absolutely LOVE the $20 challenges. These videos are always my favorites that come out.
The LGS challenges are my favorite type of magic content. Loving these!
It was going to drive me nuts if Nelson didn't get a chance to correct the boys about the inversion table. Those things are wonderfully therapeutic.
Some excellent editing by Matt on that prerecorded segment. Absolutely beautiful.
The pure chaotic energy of the final match was unbelievable!
Now turn these decks into Pauper EDH decks.
I mean we've got enough uncommon legends now, it's possible.
Technically there are common legends, but most of them are vanilla.

The Born of the Gods expansion symbol is the one that looks like Nixon entering a helicopter.
Would be a better mnemonic for Journey to Nyx (Journey of Nixon).
I love the background music that was playing over the YJ deckbuilding segment. It sounds like Aphex Twin or something.

Oh, did YJ get a makeover recently?
They actually changed location! So now they have two stories it seems
