      Ha! That's the first comment I have received about my voice. :) Thank you for your comment. Please tell your friends and colleagues about my RUclips channel where there are more than 400 free videos about the Bible, fluid mechanics, science, math, statistics, air pollution, and other topics. I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thank you for such a helpful video! In what case would be prompted to subtract one from the reduction number (j)?

      When for example you predict zero PIs. That means that either you need another variable that you have not considered, or j should be reduced by one. This has happened to me in many cases.

      I will take that as a compliment even though I am not sure I follow what you are saying.

    could you give an example for what happens when you do this wrong?
    thanks

      In most cases I have encountered, I know it is wrong when I predict zero PIs. That means either my choice of number of repeating variables is wrong or I am missing a variable. Either way, the procedure will not work out.

      See my first example in Lesson 07D where I do a case where the number of PIs is predicted to be zero.

    I believe an error was made in calculating variable b. it should b=2 not b=-2.

    • @Gabriel-nf3hu
      @Gabriel-nf3hu Год назад +1

      ***correction*** equation of exponents for PI1 was rewritten incorrectly(-b instead of +b) therefore exponent variable b does indeed equal -2. (b= -2)
