It's just that he putted her in a bit of a spot by doing that on TV. That type of dynamic is okay on internet shows but Korean audiences are way too conservative and the repercussions for a female idol publicly involved in any kind of relationship rumors are too high. I think she just tried to set the record straight and it got a little bit out of her control. I don't think Dex did something bad neither I think she meant to say that. After watching all the fridge interview with different female idols I like Hyewon‘s episode best! (Because I’m an anime fanatic too😂) Plus Dex’s tension in this episode is closest to his real life tension possibly because they have common interest. As for Eunbi, she is a seasoned entertainer and both of them take on a sword (Dex) and shield (Eunbi) concept and the teasing/flirting/bantering is very fun and entertaining to watch. I thought Eunbi overstated her position, as if the flirting on Omniscient was not ‘scripted’ and ‘Dex’s to be blamed’. That’s how I read it that she shifted the ‘blame’. And she has been ‘coy’ on some shows since then. I think that’s why we all surprised she said she felt used on that show. It works both way. While I understand how Eunbi's handling of the issue can very much be interpreted as her agreeing that he used her, which I also don't like, there's also a lot of things lost in translation and we can't really tell what was going through Eunbi's head at this moment. Maybe it was hard for her to refute Gura even though she doesn't agree. Maybe she's had enough of the teasing because romance scandals can seriously spell the end of her career as an idol (as opposed to Dex who is used to flirting and can probably still thrive career-wise even if he dates someone).

I can understand where Eunbi is coming from, it’s just that what she said seems poorly worded. (I honestly cringed at how bad it sounded) I’m sure that she understands that they both benefited from the attention, but she had always set the boundary as they were good friends. Dex on the other hand had sometimes insinuated something more by being vague. I don’t think that Dex is wrong for being flirty especially since I don’t think he had bad intentions, and I don’t think Eunbi is wrong for feeling a certain way about it since it’s her image at stake. But moreover, I think rather than "mistaking it as flirting" as genuine flirting, Eunbi likely would've seen Dex's comments as pretending to flirt to make the broadcast entertaining. Just my guess, but I think that's how she took it and I see how it could be uncomfortable.

I thought Eunbi overstated her position, as if the flirting on Omniscient was not ‘scripted’ and ‘Dex’s to be blamed’. That’s how I read it that she shifted the ‘blame’. But the ‘flirting’ between the 2 of them has started since her RUclips Channel, when she invited Dex, and she asked some ‘spicy questions’ to infer something is going on. And she has been ‘coy’ on some shows since then. I think that’s why we all surprised she said she felt used on that show. It works both way.
