You made an entire video about your 1-month tourist visa not being extended. It turns out you guys didn't get renewed because you weren't trying to renew in the same city you came in at? I'm still confused. In the past, as an American, you get a 30-day tourist visa for "FREE." You can renew it once for another 30 days at any agency. I did it in Bangkok and didn't have to go to the airport. This entire video is just weird.
This is their first time maybe and didn’t not pay attention to rules and law , you are very lucky you are in Thailand if you were in other country , you will not be this lucky .
Wow this is the most ignorant comment. This is our story and it is something can happen to anyone. We spend the entire day which was our first anniversary trying to fix this issue, spend money on public transport & taxis, and we had to pay a fine the next day. All for the mistake of the immigration and a made up rule of the Pattaya immigration office to extend on the last day.
Omg this is so unprofessional, i am so srry for this, thai ppl have problem with thailand anything government related system as well. Many of us are not happy with how the system work hence the so much hate and protest on the government the past 10 years. But anyway things are looking better now that we just have our new prime minister (better than the last is what i mean), hopefully things will be better. Happy anniversary though!
For real that is your fault ! If you need to stay more then 30 days you just need to extend your visa before your came. I am sorry to say this in the nice way if we go to Any country , we need to have return flight that said how long you will stay and get extended visa even before you came that goes to any country

Something is off. It’s no problem getting an extension in a THailand. I am an American and have done this many times the past 14 yrs
It was very much off. We did many extensions not problem but this time everything went wrong

I always just stay and pay the fine . Basically 14 bucks a day usd.

Its very easy to get a 30 day extension at immigration.
Yes until the immigration messes up your records and make up their own rules of extending on the very last day of your inicial 30 days

on a tourist visa u can stay maximum 9 months with extensions'
We did not have a visa, only stamps on arrival. Got by for 9 months
