Hey Jess! I have been wanting to ask but I haven’t been sure how to phrase it because I don’t ever want to come off as rude or prying! I personally struggle with anxiety and whenever there’s something going on with my husbands work I definitely feel like I have to be there and all of that stuff. I know you guys being a pastors family it’s probably different but do you ever get anxious about missing church? I just feel pressure to always show up and do all that I can; I think everyone does to a certain extent. Please don’t think I’m criticizing or anything at all, I seriously just am curious if it’s something you ever struggle with or worry about or if you ever have? And if you don’t anymore how’d you overcome that? So glad you had a great trip and you got your kindle! I love mine and I adore the kindle unlimited subscription, I’ve read 112 books this year😊❤️
Yes, I did struggle with that for years. Then I realized I was putting that on myself, no one else was. And God definitely wasn't. My first priority is my children and I do what's best for them. I love my church and I love being there but it's not my job like it is my husbands. I also bring this up in the interview phase with a church and make sure there aren't any requirements on me outside of being a regular member. It's not a two for one deal.
If someone is sick or it's been a hard day for Nate, I am always going to choose to do what's best for them. I feel like that's my first responsibility.

I did that a couple weeks ago at Sams where I would've saved $4 twice on the boxed chips too because it was only scan and go sale price. 😮So I went back, they refunded the money and I scanned it on my app and bought them right then. Took an extra 5min and totally worth the bother. I'm too frugal to let it go. 😅
If it hadn’t been Sunday afternoon and packed, I would have. And now, my kids have gotten into the chips. Lol
