A much easier way is: Fx 2304: 1. First you have to look at the last digit in the number (4 in this case) and find 2 square roots from 1-9. In this case 2*2=04 and 10-2 is 8, so 8*8=64 2. Look at the first two digits now. In this case it is 23, and find the closest square root BELOW the number, in this case its 4 (16) 3. now multiply your number by the number after your number (x*x+1) if your number now is higher than the number of the square root (23 here) then its gonna be the lower number of the beginning (2 or 8) but if the number is higher, then its the lower number (2) 4*5=20 23>20 so therefore the square root of 2304 is 48. It is way way more simple on a piece of paper. Have a great day!
