When, to me, it's pretty obvious that there is no such thing as "just a game!" If it isn't worth taking seriously, why the fuck would you waste your time doing it AT ALL?! Like, time is the single most valuable commodity any of us have, because there is a very firmly finite amount of it available to us, and, crucially, *we have absolutely no idea how much that amount is*! Haven't watched the episode in awhile but I remember a number of the point awards seemed very generous to me. But hey, maybe I'm just skewing everything because of this insane bombshell and it's just a comedy game so who really cares so long as we get stuff like this out of it.
@@cr1197 Not just that episode, but overall the point awards tend to be incredibly generous and fairly arbitrary. I'm not sure if it's puritanicalism, per se, for a threesome to be considered a juicy confession, I guess that depends on the people you generally hang out with, I think if Brennan's story hadn't been such a stand out in comparison nobody would be questioning whether the other stories were worth 5 points. I imagine the fact that Sam is fairly familiar with all of them probably also factors into how "juicy" the confessions were, because he has context that we lack for how open they usually are and the sort of lives they usually lead. I know some people for whom a confession of a threesome would be a huge deal and I know some people for whom it would be barely a blip on the radar, context matters and we lack it.
@@jacobbissey9311 I agree that context matters, but I disagree that we lack it. Or, at least, a frame for it. Anyone who watches CollegeHumor even casually is able to glean things about their personalities and values (at the very least those they show on camera and, as they are on camera now, should be consistent). We all know which direction they lean with social politics. So while yes, this confession would shock the old biddies scandalized by an exposed ankle, they've built themselves to be pretty firmly on the "barely a blip on the radar" end of the spectrum with modern sensibilities on sex.
