I'm a 3.0 having played a lot of doubles lately. I have heard a ton about these guys, so I thought I would look them up. Incredible. Never in my wildest dreams could I play doubles as well as these guys.
There are great doubles pairs.
And then there are the Bryan Brothers
They have unreal reaction times at the net. Having them both up there has got to be the scariest thing a doubles team can see.

Ok so they have retired...but I still don't know who's Mike and and who's Bob.
Mike has a more chiseled looking jawline, Bob has a slightly rounder face
The left handed one is Bob while the right handed one is Mike

Sad to see these guys go, I was lucky enough to see them play in London a few years ago (pretty sure it was that match against Rojer/Tecau at 0:40 in) they lost the match but it was just a privilege to see them play. They may well be the only doubles players in history to win every title going, all the Slams multiple times, every masters, olympic gold, Davis Cup and year-end championships, they've more than earned their retirement and I don't see another doubles pair coming close to their achievements at any time in the foreseeable future!

When the bryan brothers were on tour, doubles felt relevant. clearly below singles, but still something that captured some amount of attention. with them gone, doubles is basically unnoticeable from a broadcast perspective. very unfortunate, considering how much of rec tennis is doubles.
