In my market the LOTR Brickheadz and Tusken Raider are all out of stock on the LEGO website (not backorder, but temporarily out of stock). Hope we will able to order a few more before EOL.
Hey Nice Brixx great video, I am into the Brickheadz heavily for this years investment strategy. Sonic and Lord of the Rings at the sing and duel price packs have opportunity written all over. You did forget to mention the Spring Festival Mickey Mouse which I believe is die to retire at the end of 2024, cheers
Love brickheadz for investment and because of that I've become a fan of collecting. I don't believe Spring Festival Mickey is retiring this year. I still have it as a 2025 retirement. Either way, it's a good investment.
Interesting Video and I am on the same page with most of the things you are saying but I was wondering when you are comparing sales prices on amazon are these actual sales happening or is it more or less just a placeholder? Greetings from Germany and looking forward to more content!
It's a combination of both. Often times I look at the number of reviews on Amazon to determine if the set has sold at or around that price. There are sites that offer price trends but Amazon prices can change daily.
I honestly think Mirabel and Malificent & Cruella could be a banger as well. Disney (lego) fans are willing to spend and noone is talking about it. Also the current sellers on marketplaces but also on Amazon/Ebay and such are not even 1/4th of the for example Star Wars, LOTR brickheadz resellers… at least for these sets and the one with Moana, which i expect will do a tad less. Not sure yet about the Mickey Mouse festive brickheadz which also retires …. In the end. Last set with MM, the multipack didn’t do too well. Not yet at least.
I'm on the fence with the sets you mentioned. I've seen them on sale too often at Lego but you're absolutely right about Disney fans and spending habits.
Are you selling brickheadz? And I wanna ask does it take a long time to sell one for profit? How long does it take to put on sale and someone purchase it?
I do sell brickheadz. Profit and timing depend on the set in question. I've sold sets that are still active for 100% profit, I have brickheadz that are sitting because of the characters. So they'll take longer obviously. Usually with a popular brickheadz I'll see sales within 24 hours of listing. But can be a week or two. A good example is set #40550 Chip and Dale. They've sat for a bit but I can list a lord of the rings, Ashoka, or buzz lightyear and it sells in a day.
I wouldn't say that on bricklink. It really all depends on the brickheadz you're trying to sell. Use Ashoka as an example. On Amazon she's selling for $29.99 but on bricklink she's only selling for $10.75 right now. A big difference. So set and channel matter.
None of the Sonic sets have ever gone on Backorder. 2 of the sets you talked about have been delayed till 2025. Brickheadz are lego exclusives. Lego just did a 10 year extension on brickheadz brand
I think the Inside Out 2 will be a decent bet. I am planning on trying to bundle the sonic ones. i'm a bit hesitant to load up given what we had for sale last year on boxing day.
not sure about god‘s work, but what i do know is that especially young lego investors need to realize that the golden days of lego investing are long gone.
Personally I'd want a Senator Palpatine over the good captain or even Sebulba to match young Ani. But a Young Obi with the Padawan tail would be good also.
I agree with your premise. My primary thought in the ranking was simply about time on the market for collectors to buy the set. In this case, a few Sonic sets will be available for a shorter time than the LOTR Brickheadz. I agree that there are a ton more LOTR fans.
@@studebricker2845 I understand your perspective. On the other hand, I know quite a few people who like the brickheadz on a shelf or office desk. To each their own.
I like minifigures, thought brick built characters are lame. And then something changed and I saw the appeal. But I am wait8ng for my first Brickhearz to arrive, so I could see it for myself are they interesting or not. But there is a market for collectors. Minifigures are getting rereleased and updated. Brickheadz are unique so far. So are Wednesday, Glinda and Elfaba, which look both beautiful and interesting.

Hey Dave! Love how thorough you are in describing how you can determine value vs. effort!
Trying to get better with each video.
I think your bang on the money with the Brickheadz, they always do well in retirement and I think they will for a few more years yet.
I agree. They work for everyone

@@nicebrixx1876 maybe using camelcamelcamel as a reference point would give a more reliable price point.
I don't mind triple camel. At some points it's spot on, often times it's very delayed. I'll try it in a future video and see how it plays.
Aragorn and Arwen are definitely top 10 already and are already sold out

Obi wan and darth vader is set to be retired in 2025
My sources have it confirmed to retire the end of this year. I doubt it'll be on shelves for three years. I guess we'll see.
Nope, it will retire this year

@@nicebrixx1876 so can I sell one with 100% profit in one or two weeks on bricklink?

Good call on the newly changed retirement dates. I have to edit the description to account for the change.

I've seen people have success with the bundle idea. Let me know how it goes!
That way you could recreate the duel of fates scene!!!
Thanks for the heads up bro. Doing God’s work!!🙏🙏
Thanks

Its gotta be a Young Obi Wan instead of Captain Panaka SURELY??? Am i right? am i right?!?!?!

with so many other options that are perfect i think maybe having a seperate set that has 2 others
Arwen and Aragorn not in the top 5 is just off. How many Sonic collectors are there compared to Lord of The Rings fans

@@nicebrixx1876 probably they are going to do both fine. Brickhead are a Gem.
let‘s keep our feet on the ground. ahsoka is not selling for even 12$ on bricklink US. the „doubling your investment“ times are long gone
A big part why I don't sell anything on bricklink. Other channels give you more opportunities to profit.
@@nicebrixx1876what channels? I'm curious
Great vid but hasn’t the inside out been moved to 2025?
Yes it did. I'm going to edit the description. It moved on me!
8 months for BH Menace, bit 6, Legolas BH have 6
But why are lord of the rings already retiring? They're new!!!
I don't know, at least from my initial research.
Brickheadzzz, the Funco Pops of the Lego world. I will never purchase one of these. They are beyond lame.
Sorry you feel that way. I felt that way at first personally but realized they serve a great purpose for collectors who are character focused.
@@nicebrixx1876 That's what the minifig is for. Brick built figures are unnecessary with the ironic added bonus of having less articulation.
