I was lifting for a while then stopped cos I wasn't getting much results despite how focused I was, I was doing everything right, eating proper foods and the right amount for ME, training hard but not overtraining, getting enough sleep, I mean that's all you gotta do and I still wasnt getting decent results, obviously cos I'm a "hard gainer", honestly I trained so hard I'd be drenched in sweat and sometimes shaking from the intensity, despite me being so small and not being able to lift as much as some of the bigger guys, the trainers and other gymgoers said I was one of hardest lifters they'd seen, it made me feel good and all but my lack of decent results made me feel i was wasting my time,so I quit that, about the part where I should dress nicer, I've noticed because of my body type clothes look weird and wrong on me, I don't have a particular size, I'm more in between them, so if I get a medium for example it'll be to tight and short, whereas if I move up a size to a large its to long and baggy, its pretty annoying tbh, as for my looks I'm below average at my BEST if I'm gonna be brutally honest, I can't deny the truth

Your advice is so simple, but makes sense from a logical standpoint. Women want to feel safe and comfortable, and what you describe is Alpha male behavior- Looking someone directly in the eye, smiling, and receptive body language. The funny thing is that a lot of us guys lose our shit when we see a pretty girl because we don't know how to handle the situation. I don't think it is like the over-analyzing mentally that women do, although it can be, but I think it puts us out of our element and comfort zone, and we're not used to it. I really think that is it, on the most basic level. I mean you can add on their guys who are thinking "I'm not good enough" or "What if she rejects me?!" You actually got it right. Men are wired competitive by nature. They want to win, so the uncertainties of rejection and getting out of their comfort zone makes them uneasy and scares even the most confident men out there. As guys, if we're confident in something and know we will do well, we can go into it 100%, but if there is a risk of loss, or it a 50/50 toss up, we are a lot less confident. I think the fear of rejection is the fear that we are not good enough for someone's approval, which is not good for our individual egos or sense of self-worth. Inherently, we all want to feel like we are worthy of romantic love from someone we are interested in, and the most devastating message you can internally believe or receive is: "I'm not good enough. No one that I am interested in wants me romantically. I am a failure" When you get rejected enough, that message can get internalized pretty quickly. I believe that's another reason we don't try more often as guys- each rejection eats at our Ego and our self-confidence, and makes us feel like we are not wanted romantically or sexually.
I like this woman because she is one of the few that she speaks the facts, don't make jokes and defamation about us, she just speaks the true, but is also true, how to talk to a woman that is inside the cell phone.

Great straight forward advice. I’d add look but don’t overdo it, blink and don’t look away but instead look at her lips or another place on her after a little while. It still shows interest without becoming creepy. Also, I agree with the smile part, so teeth whitening is also a good idea... But unfortunately for those few of us that physically can’t smile we are at a huge disadvantage. I know this first hand and rarely find someone I’m really attracted to (sure there are a ton of beautiful women but not too many that really catch my interest) but when I do I feel at a huge disadvantage for not being able to smile. Lastly open body language, this is also solid advice, so with that in mind break the touch barrier ASAP (it can be as simple as a handshake).

The other way I do that is through going salsa dancing usually about 4 nights a week, taking salsa classes, workshops and hanging out with them. I used to wear clothes that didn't fit me quite right and basically think " meh, close enough " . I inherited a jacket from an uncle after he passed and when I see old pix of me wearing it I cringe ! It's not about how you look, but how you make her feel David. Sure you'd look goofy but you can still use that to your advantage. I didn't know I was so attracted to girls in high school. It was only when some girls told me I was good looking. Umm....I'm extremely clean, (two showers a day) I always look women in the eye, smile, make them feel good about themselves...they even say I'm a great guy and laugh at my self deprecating jokes. Some even say I'm the sweetest guy ever...Oh, and I work out six days a week, watch what I eat, dress fairly well, have never done drugs, save every dime I make, and keep my house (which I own) spotless and very stylish, just in case a woman happens in. Because I couldn't make a career decision. You're canadien and in Canada they had a study that said that women are more attracted to men who are serious rather than men that smile unlike men who are more attracted to women who smile. I agree with most of what you said except the clothing part I have attracted girls with dirty clothes or not even caring what I was wearing... I was lifting for a while then stopped cos I wasn't getting much results despite how focused I was, I was doing everything right, eating proper foods and the right amount for ME, training hard but not overtraining, getting enough sleep, I mean that's all you gotta do and I still wasnt getting decent results, obviously cos I'm a "hard gainer", honestly I trained so hard I'd be drenched in sweat and sometimes shaking from the intensity, despite me being so small and not being able to lift as much as some of the bigger guys, the trainers and other gymgoers said I was one of hardest lifters they'd seen, it made me feel good and all but my lack of decent results made me feel i was wasting my time,so I quit that, about the part where I should dress nicer, I've noticed because of my body type clothes look weird and wrong on me, I don't have a particular size, I'm more in between them, so if I get a medium for example it'll be to tight and short, whereas if I move up a size to a large its to long and baggy, its pretty annoying tbh, as for my looks I'm below average at my BEST if I'm gonna be brutally honest, I can't deny the truth
TheRed 1 As far as being a hard gainer in the gym goes, well one word for you is STEROIDS. As long as u get legit anabolic steroids & not the counterfeit (fake) shit. Also don't do too much too fast cause that can be a deadly mistake. There's a difference between use & abuse too. Also age is a factor IMO Anybody under age 25 shouldn't use steroids. If you don't know anything about steroids 101. Then educate yourself cause you need to know what ur doing & how certain substances work. STEROIDS are a controlled substance level 3. Any illegal and illicit drugs are schedule level 1 wich is drugs like cocaine, methaphetamine, heroin, opiates, THC, PCP, LSD, Amphetamines, methadone. If you are against steroids and are a 💯 drug free?... Well that sucks for u man. Steroids aren't going to turn u into a Casanova type of course. If you are on an anabolic steroid cycle and do everything u did before.. Then it's guaranteed u won't be wasting ur time & money. Be thou carefull where & whoever u happen to get/buy them from too, that's just common sense anyway. U won't know until u try it.

Your advice is so simple, but makes sense from a logical standpoint. Women want to feel safe and comfortable, and what you describe is Alpha male behavior- Looking someone directly in the eye, smiling, and receptive body language.
The funny thing is that a lot of us guys lose our shit when we see a pretty girl because we don't know how to handle the situation. I don't think it is like the over-analyzing mentally that women do, although it can be, but I think it puts us out of our element and comfort zone, and we're not used to it. I really think that is it, on the most basic level. I mean you can add on their guys who are thinking "I'm not good enough" or "What if she rejects me?!"
But at the most basic level, we are uncertain with how to engage, and it is intimidating to us.
You actually got it right. Men are wired competitive by nature. They want to win, so the uncertainties of rejection and getting out of their comfort zone makes them uneasy and scares even the most confident men out there. It usually results to playing it safe and not making a move until they know it's a sure shot, which then results to missed chances.
@@KateSpring That makes a lot of sense. As guys, if we're confident in something and know we will do well, we can go into it 100%, but if there is a risk of loss, or it a 50/50 toss up, we are a lot less confident.
I think the fear of rejection is the fear that we are not good enough for someone's approval, which is not good for our individual egos or sense of self-worth.
Inherently, we all want to feel like we are worthy of romantic love from someone we are interested in, and the most devastating message you can internally believe or receive is:
"I'm not good enough. No one that I am interested in wants me romantically. I am a failure"
When you get rejected enough, that message can get internalized pretty quickly.
I believe that's another reason we don't try more often as guys- each rejection eats at our Ego and our self-confidence, and makes us feel like we are not wanted romantically or sexually.

Great straight forward advice. I’d add look but don’t overdo it, blink and don’t look away but instead look at her lips or another place on her after a little while. It still shows interest without becoming creepy. Also, I agree with the smile part, so teeth whitening is also a good idea... But unfortunately for those few of us that physically can’t smile we are at a huge disadvantage. I know this first hand and rarely find someone I’m really attracted to (sure there are a ton of beautiful women but not too many that really catch my interest) but when I do I feel at a huge disadvantage for not being able to smile. Lastly open body language, this is also solid advice, so with that in mind break the touch barrier ASAP (it can be as simple as a handshake).

The other way I do that is through going salsa dancing usually about 4 nights a week, taking salsa classes, workshops and hanging out with them. They invite me to many of their events and their socialization with me, I feel, is vital to my well being. Keep up the good work!

I used to wear clothes that didn't fit me quite right and basically think " meh, close enough " . I inherited a jacket from an uncle after he passed and when I see old pix of me wearing it I cringe ! It was clearly too big on me and yet I wore that thing for YEARS . One of many what was I thinking moments in my life.
I have the same cringe moments 😂 I think we all go through that sort of phase in life. What's important is that you can now look back at those moments and take what you can learn to improve and become a better version of yourself! 🙂

It's not about how you look, but how you make her feel David. Sure you'd look goofy but you can still use that to your advantage. Smiling creates a positive atmosphere which makes it easier for women to get comfortable with you. I'd go out with a smiling goofy guy any day than with a brooding, serious and boring guy 😉
I didn't know I was so attracted to girls in high school. It was only when some girls told me I was good looking. I was always bathed, dressed up & had a few bucks in my pockets when I went to visit a girl. In one night I had kissed 3 girls & was never refused. Then the draft came & I found myself surrounded by 3000 Marines in 1969 missing a girl to call my own. Never got a Dear John letter as some did, or Divorce Papers served through US Mail. I cut myself off from any attachment to a woman not to hurt by a woman when I went to Vietnam. I saw it both ways wives losing a husband to war & other's getting broken hearts.

Umm....I'm extremely clean, (two showers a day) I always look women in the eye, smile, make them feel good about themselves...they even say I'm a great guy and laugh at my self deprecating jokes. Some even say I'm the sweetest guy ever...Oh, and I work out six days a week, watch what I eat, dress fairly well, have never done drugs, save every dime I make, and keep my house (which I own) spotless and very stylish, just in case a woman happens in. I'm also not ugly...I'm not Zac Efron, but I'm easy on the eyes (so I've been told, I don't truly believe it, but I'm still reasonably confident)...So, why am I still single? Because I couldn't make a career decision. Indecision, lack of a male role model, lack of focus, lack of vision (Palpatine was spot on with that nugget), over thinking, under thinking, maybe I just don't truly believe in any one thing...I dunno. Not blaming anyone or anything...I just couldn't make up my damn mind. Had TOO many interests. I wish I were simple and channelled, but hey, life is waaaay too varied...(people seem too one dimensional to me, but those are usually the most successful) And I had to pay bills..and didn't wanna puss out and ask for help (immature, I know)but now I'm over 40 and still wait tables...I'm not thrilled with it, but I don't hate it...I'm good at it and it pays the bills and then some. (I'd choose something different if I felt I could, but I try to stay positive). But, I'm invisible to women and that's FINE...because you know what the true key is fellas? The REAL and pretty much ONLY way to attract a woman these days? (Besides having a prison record, beating the shit outta your girl, being a complete druggie all-day Xbox-playing loser or looking like Zac Efron) Make at least 80k a year OR be on the way to doing so. Because THAT'S what it's all about. Cutting through all the crap here. Look, I don't hate women, in fact, I was raised by women and if anyone understands them, it's me. And I still respect them, because ya gotta have hope, right? I'm just speaking from vast experience. Constantly being pushed aside, subsidized, rejected, lied to, taken advantage of and ultimately shit on. But it's okay, because I'm past it (mostly) and I see several of my friends who ARE "successful" in life and they're trapped in loveless marriages with women who, let's just say, didn't keep up their end of the bargain. I still hold out for hope that a woman out there agrees with me that it takes two these days...a true team effort to make it work. But all too often, I feel that most women just want a man to take care of their problems. They get the ring and it's like, "Oh, now I can coast...now I'm protected." At least I'm not in that boat. But I am tired of being alone. Except when I fart. Then I'm thankful. I guess I just wanna find a girl who still meets me somewhere close to halfway...and likes to laugh.

I have a question for you. You're canadien and in Canada they had a study that said that women are more attracted to men who are serious rather than men that smile unlike men who are more attracted to women who smile. Which honestly makes sense, you look at the sexiest men alive like George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt and they never smile. So that's why I'm a little hesitant about the whole smiling thing, but do you still personally recommend it?
Excuse me!?!? Leonardo smiles and he's drop-dead gorgeous when he does!!!
Anyway, I believe they're talking about something in general situation Alex. Of course, you don't want her to catch you smiling for no apparent reason, right? Be serious about stuff, but when you interact with her, then that's the time you go give her that killer smile ;)

Me and my girlfriend broke up for a second time in college we go to the same school and this time she said it didn’t feel the same. Dear Kate, I was wondering if saying something clumsy is seen by a woman as not confident. I once joined a trial session of dancing and one of the ladies I know for a while invited me for a dance. I jokingly asked if she dared to give it try, because we both know I was barely able. Afterwards, I wondered if I should have said that. It sounded rather clumsy.

Maybe it's just me being Japanese but the Japanese tend to have a tough time giving eye contact. I know when a cute girl looks at me, I look down or away. I don't know why.

Yeah. Some women do prefer that Philip. To be specific, they're looking for someone with a "Bad Boy" image. It's kinda tricky because if you overdo it, she might think you're a dick(yikes!). I suggest you watch this video about how to be a bad boy if you'd like to take the path to the dark side! 😉

I agree with most of what you said except the clothing part I have attracted girls with dirty clothes or not even caring what I was wearing...
Clothing and hygiene does help greatly but for advance guys we don't really or necessarily depend one 100% on it.
This does not mean go be a slob and smell like death either...
