Regarding the lore, I can't say much about the Girls MV because it looks like they defeated Black Mamba and finished that storyline. Some people have a theory that there are more meanings to it. Some think Black Mamba was still alive because in the MV, some girls had transition from good to bad (their black outfits and dark makeup style). In the MV "Welcome to MY World", I think naevis was the one who invited them to her world. She created a new world after they defeated (supposedly) black mamba. Fun fact, aespa calls their virtual characters "MY". So the title welcome to MY World (MY in capital) means welcome to virtual world. It makes more sense to me because the song gave an uneasy feeling even though everything seemed normal and realistic. In Spicy MV, those girls are not aespa themselves. I think they belong to a different world or their doppelgangers. Near the end of MV, you can see a poster and they called themselves Spicy Girls. Their characteristics are different from aespa. They also have some type of power like stopping time. The lyrics are provocative. The world does not look like a real world either because sometimes there are pixelated objects or glitches. Just some interesting theories I've learned from other people for aespa's lore.

life's too short isn't part of the storyline, it's juat a special single that released (first t8me performance) at their coachella on 2022
Life's Too Short isn't a cover, but it was created and released so that they would have an English single to perform at the Coachella Music Festival in 2022. And yes, Girls is a nearly four minute long song.
I won't go into the spoilers around Welcome to MY World or Spicy, except to say that their most recent releases (Drama and Supernova) have seemed to indicate that there is more than one version of Aespa that exists in their multiverse. Oh, and Welcome to MY World was filmed in Australia and LA.

Same thing in Savage, when the camera swoops down on the members, everyone assumes it's a robot arm, but they actually had a cameraman in a harness and dropped him from the ceiling!

The MVs are great. The songs are fantastic. aespa is a versatile group.
The "Black Mamba" story series involves Black Mamba, Next Level, Savage, Girls. (They slay Black mamba in Girls). "Welcome to my World" is kinda like an epilogue to the series.
The "Aespa - SM Culture" series episodes 1-3 are extra mini films which kinda expand on the Black Mamba series lore.

2:54 The emojis that show up very often are because they mainly talk about subjects like social media, their AEs are based on the information they upload on social media so the emojis represent the "fans" (happy emojis) or "haters" (sad/angry emojis) if you remember at the end of Black Mamba MV we saw BM come out of the ground surrounded by a bunch of "dislikes" and broken heart reactions ! They tap in more on this in their SMCU episodes.
