I plan profit and loss according to my risk.. The only issue I am facing after my desired target hit if the stock moves another 3-4%. I feel a lot. To avoid this I am closing that stock from the watchlist after my target hit

thanks for the video... a further question... how will the price of the share being bought have an impact... E.g if I am buying TCS at 3500 vs buying say yes bank at 20 Rs in both the cases the stop loss will be very different, how will that impact the position size. EG if I am buying TCS at 3500 and my slop loss is only 30 Rs then the position size will become very big.. some where the price of the stock +value of SL as a percentage of the unit price of share should also make a difference

जो लोग option writing मे hedge position रखते हैं उससे तो कोई संबंध है नही उसका ... Market gap up हो या gap down या 1000 point ऊपर जाये या नीचे जैसे आज ही B.N. 800 point से ऊपर चला गया जिनकी short position थी और पूरी तरह hedge थी क्या फर्क पड़ा उन्हें ...?
Sir what about brokerages jab hum koi trade lete hai toh agar humko loss hota hai toh wo loss zyada ho jata hai because of brokerages and agar humko profits hota hai toh wo kam ho jata hai because of brokerages so this is not accurate calculator please let us know about another calculator woth brokerage charges

Now my risk capabiliti is 4%
Means 500,000s 4% is = 20,000 rs
then as per formula 20000 / 51 = 392 max stock can buy (round figure )
Now please tell me
If the price is 1712 and 392 STOCK
I have bought then
What is the amount i have to pay?
1712 rs 392 stock means = 671,104 rs
Now tell me how it is possible?
It's beyond my total capital?
Or please tell me the actual formula

Thats a nice example Sagar, and I like how you have front loaded the losing streak. But can you try reversing the win-loss sequence? Your example comes completely undone by simply reversing the W/L sequence hehe :). #justSaying
Hey, I know. I deliberately added the losing streaks in the start.
Because, if we are calculating risk, let's do it for the worst-case scenario.
If you are doing right for the worst case, then you'll do great for all the other cases.

How to use this calculator for currency? Should we input pips?
No, you should give SL interns of rupees only.
Like your target is 0.5 Rupees and and you can divide the Position Size (result by sheet) by 1000 (Lot Size of USDINR).
That'll give you the lot size.

Sir you can use the same calculator for Option. You just have to put your SL and your capital in the sheet. Sheet will tell how quantity you should trade.
