I've had an FM3 for several months for recording guitar and I love it. I bought a bass yesterday to replace my fake bassy guitar parts. As a guy new to the instrument, I appreciate this video. I want to hear the sound more than I want to see someone shred for the thousandth time.
The FM3 definitely has potential as an all in one, might of been a bit clearer for viewers if you varied the playing style more and played different genres. Reggae, Jazz, Soul, Funk, Country styles would really help. Also demo the pitchshifter OC2, Whammy and Pog stuff.
Yet another video with bass sounds you would never use in a band
thus my comment....why does everyone do a dirty tone?
It’s incredibly annoying. No useful info anywhere for us “real world” bass players.

Glad we could help
Just curious why you used guitar amp models instead of the bass amp models? There are a couple of bass models in the unit.
what about a uber clean but highly orange squeezer comp tone?
I get better tones with my Battalion preamp pedal. Maybe this unit is best for guitar and that’s it.
so bad its almost parody
