This is seriously one of the best Korean variety shows I've ever seen. I love how they immerse themselves in the community, and their struggles feel real. I hope this show continues on for a long time.
great show. great concept. with human condition going down in flames and kang hodong's invisible man flop, its good to know that kbs came up with a show that reminds us about what is really important in life. family, friends and love.
Seems like KBS is trying out a lot of new variety shows lately, like "I am a Man", "Invisible Man" and "Brave Family" I think KBS seems to excel in outdoor/rural kind of shows, like Family Outing and 1D2N, were pretty well done.
Am I the obly one who cried when they were saying their farewells? The people there were really nice and very welcoming. I wish the Chief and his family and all the people there all the best.
This program has now ended in Korea after the planned 10 episodes but there's talk of it being picked up for another season. I really hope they do as it's really fun to watch and different to other variety shows.
Sophie Beaumont you're right.. this is such a good show from KBS.. I enjoyed it more than 1N2D or running man (maybe this is just me).. great casting too.. hope to see them for another season..

Really beautiful--absolutely beautiful conclusion to the Tonle Sap saga. I'd say a whole bunch more, but suffice to say, it was a really moving show! I was gonna quit watching since they were leaving, but it looks like the same cast is just going to Laos, so I will keep on watching. Awesome show, KBS! :)
I bet when Cambodia's government see this, they will fix especially the bathroom and drinking water area, qlso fix a bit the floating houses, cause there probability of tourism increasing this year. I hope the production team considering going to Indonesia sometimes in the future. Probably not bali, yet lombok island as they are not to westernized, yet they can speak a bit English and the traditional people livehood are making art handicrafts, dancing or go fishing and farming. Also, hopefully this show will go a long time
e r the show ends at episode 10 after Laos, these kind of overseas filming cost a lot in budget as not only the cast but the production crew will have to be transported with all the heavy filming equipment. and with the low ratings, I think the show cannot sustain the budget for long.
i can't stop laughing to the bugs attack and here goes minhyuk screaming whenever a bug land on him but he's not even afraid of that gecko...and when eomma hits seolhyun and minhyuk lightly at the back lmao xD
Also its difficult for them to catch fishes this season. Water evaporates, leaving muddy water and fishes cant breath, so the fishes go somewhere deeper. If they have come during raining season, it would be easier.
thank you KBS world tv! this is a great experience to see how actors / actresses handle with life issues from different cultures. I love watching it. I hope KBS will continues to do it with many other countries ! please, don't stop!

Aww the Chief's daughters are so pretty! (also, i know this is just for the show but the new girl.. I felt like she could have not done those dress and scented candles thing knowing that he has a wife in real life which although it's just for a show, could stir things up. But then again, this is Just my opinion so yea)

I love this show! Normally, I have only one show I have to watch a week (RM), but now I have two! A new location every few months would be great. I understand it takes a lot to film a show like this, but it is SO interesting to see Cambodia like this and soon Vietnam. Hopefully it won't be completely over at 10 episodes...
Does this have a low rating in Korean TV?? It ends at tenth episode. Can't believe it :( It was such a beautiful and heart-warming show. The first time I saw it on TV, I immediately fell in love with it.
they literally went to the poorest part of cambodiia during the poorest harvesting season with 8bucks, that's tough even for locals. Most country villages food is abundant, you just stroll iinto the jungle
I've got only one word to say to them ( MISS )... when i watched this program for the first time i thought its really mess up but i end up with watching all this episodes by today, i mean, i watched all of this 5 epi by today ....
I'm so glad they're moving to a new location. I felt that 1 episode in the last place was actually enough to get to know the place and the nice people there. Time for something new I hope!
