The whole folk/neo-pagan genre is growing so rapidly. So much is the same or just bad. However, this is amazing. I love this so much. It stands out to me for still having that folk feel but English lyrics. Unlike some other songs using English music, this truly feels like it has meaning. There is a particular artist out there that seems semi-popular but his lyrics seem to be a list of "common Viking phrases," from google. This song feels like you actually get it and it means something to you, its not a cash grab but something more. I'm rambling, but the bottom line is this song is amazing so thank you. Finally, "sir, may we have another?"
Thank you for this very nice comment! I try to honor my dear Scandinavia and the Norse mythology in these types of tracks. Some people don’t like that I sing in English for this kind of music but I think it is the best way create an interest for it. I want people to learn about the mythology and the old ways of Scandinavia. This is my way to honor my heritage.
