    You are in my top 5 of artistic jewelry designers. I can watch your video all the way through with ease before attempting a project. While other artist, I can hardly stand to watch because they talk too much instead of getting right into the project. Also, you explain everything so well and show everything step by step so that even us amateurs can follow along. Thank you for all that you give🙏🏾❤️💛💚

    Thank you for taking the mystery out of incorporating coiled wire with other weaves, and combining enameled copper wire with silver. Your instructions are clear, you show how to add on wire invisibly when you've run out, and I love how you turn the "flaws" into "unique". Can't wait to try this: it can make an average stone look spectacular.

    I appreciate all the little details, no matter how long or short it is. You are one of the better teachers! I can't leave a photo, but I about gave up, then all of a sudden I cut a lot of the center wires away and it worked. I got jipped on the "copper beads" as they were plated on top of glass or plastic, so I will watch my orders.

    I love this design- it’s a great tutorial, thank you! I used it to make my very first wire woven pendant and still have lots of practice ahead of me to get as good as you! Just one small suggestion however- it was difficult to see which wires you were referring to at points so it might be helpful to add additional information such as “use the second from the outside and middle wires for the bale” or “make the first loop using the very outside, first, shorter wire” or something like that. I had a hard time figuring out which wires you were using for the bale and ended up winging it, which is fine too, I guess..

    HOW DO YOU HAVE SUCH HEALTHY, GORGEOUS NAILS?!?!

    This looks beautiful but so much work. I would love to get into wire wrapping but what would someone charge for all this work? Thoughts?

    • @backtoearthcreations
      @backtoearthcreations  7 лет назад +2

      Hey, Ginny! I charged $30 for this piece, but most folks could charge a LOT more, especially if it were made with silver instead of enameled copper. I have heard many times that I should charge more for my work, but the market that I sell in (anime, comic, and sci fi conventions) isn't a demographic necessarily flush with disposable income. If (hopefully when!) you get into wire wrapping, you will be the best judge of what you should and can price your work at, as no one knows better than you the amount of work you put into it and no one knows better than you your market and clients.

    Do you use wax or protectaclear or anything like that to seal in the wire to keep it from tarnishing? I've been oxidizing my copper and wanted to find something to seal it before I attempt to give any as gifts.

    • @backtoearthcreations
      @backtoearthcreations  6 лет назад

      Hey, Natasha! Everything I have used eventually needs reapplied, but PYM II is probably my favorite; it goes on fast as a spray, leaving a very even coating that isn't sticky and doesn't discolor. I use one coat on the front and multiple on the back sides of pieces that will tarnish. The rest of the time I use coated wire from www.parawire.com

    • @natashacline1601
      @natashacline1601 6 лет назад

      Thank you! I eyed out Parawire and may order some. The bare copper from Arcor direct is around $8-$9 per pound when you order in heavy bulk but parawires antiqued copper looked like it may be worth the 2.5-3x cost different just to not have to coat or stress any tarnish. :)

    Are you doing the 5 weaves on two outer wires on both ends or 1 outer wire? So then you leave the 2 middle wires for the bead?

    • @backtoearthcreations
      @backtoearthcreations  7 лет назад +2

      I think I am just doing the outtermost wire; if you could give me a time stamp of when in the video you are asking about that would help a lot! :)

    • @RosaButton
      @RosaButton 7 лет назад
