@Yvonne Williams!! Thank you for being so patient and continuing such beautiful videos that walk us from A to Z 😊❤❤❤❤❤❤
I like your videos on wire-weaving the best... They are close enough to see clearly..THANK YOU!
You are in my top 5 of artistic jewelry designers. I can watch your video all the way through with ease before attempting a project. While other artist, I can hardly stand to watch because they talk too much instead of getting right into the project. Also, you explain everything so well and show everything step by step so that even us amateurs can follow along. Thank you for all that you give🙏🏾❤️💛💚
Thank you Yvonne!!! 💞💞
Thank you for taking the mystery out of incorporating coiled wire with other weaves, and combining enameled copper wire with silver. Your instructions are clear, you show how to add on wire invisibly when you've run out, and I love how you turn the "flaws" into "unique". Can't wait to try this: it can make an average stone look spectacular.
Yvonne, you are such a good teacher, I put the wire wrap for a few months. So I’m starting again. The peace is beautiful. Thank you🙃
thank you so much, Julia!
That was an awesome tutorial you explained everything so good and didn't rush like some do I enjoyed every minute and I'm looking forward to trying that design. I always watch it a few times before I venture lol. Thank for taking the time to make this and I pray you will continue to do more. Xoxo Kerry
Beautiful weave, love the addition of the bead to the weave 😉😍
Thank you once again for yet another amazing video. You are so very talented. I also have to say your giggle is delightful!
Amazing, this is exactly what I'm always looking for. Especially cabochons in wire weaving and wrapping. Please Please Please Please Please Please Please Please do more of these. I can't beg you enough. lol. I and others will so appreciate learning more on this from you. Would you consider doing one with a cabochon? One more please so pretty please 🙂 Thanks so much, Melissa Wood
hehe, I am so glad you like it! Give me a few weeks to get a video put together, but I will go ahead and start working on a woven design that uses an undrilled cabochon :)
I am obsessed with your tutorials! thank you for sharing :)!!
hehe, right on!!
I appreciate all the little details, no matter how long or short it is. You are one of the better teachers! I can't leave a photo, but I about gave up, then all of a sudden I cut a lot of the center wires away and it worked. I got jipped on the "copper beads" as they were plated on top of glass or plastic, so I will watch my orders.
This is beautiful. Thank you for the at ease difection.
just love watching your video's.. another beautiful piece. Thank you.
It's a real pleasure watching your mind at work! Just beautiful!
momapipes Hehe, thanks for watching! :)

Thanks, Roberta! that is definitely something I am trying to avoid!

Awesome!
Second the previous entry - this is exactly what i have been looking for! Brillianr idea with the seed beads - loved it, and going to experiment))
Thank you!!
hehe, right on! Let me know how it goes for you :)
Sure:)
You're so amazing 👏💗
I love this design- it’s a great tutorial, thank you! I used it to make my very first wire woven pendant and still have lots of practice ahead of me to get as good as you! Just one small suggestion however- it was difficult to see which wires you were referring to at points so it might be helpful to add additional information such as “use the second from the outside and middle wires for the bale” or “make the first loop using the very outside, first, shorter wire” or something like that. I had a hard time figuring out which wires you were using for the bale and ended up winging it, which is fine too, I guess..
I love this ... I must give it a try!!
hehe, I'd love to hear how it goes for you!
Hi Yvonne! Just wanted you to know last weekend I posted a small stone I wrapped on Facebook And I had 6 people wanted it. But I sold it took first person. Then I showed my other Pendants And wow more interested people!! Thanks for your help learning this very special art!
Congratulations! That is awesome!
Love it!!
Well done! I am just learning and have not yet mastered wire wrapping I think I wrap too tight. Well practice, practice.
Beautiful
Thank you very much once again))))
What a user-friendly tutorial!!
I know I promised to give it a try, and i will eventually
too many things cooking
but i have got cabs and beads and everything
i will certainly let you know what i produced
Tnanks Ivonne!!!
DIYmanic :D sounds like a plan! happy crafting :)
Oh yea, I did this pattern of using clear 4 mm beads and wrapped a light green Aventurine!! Gorgeous I love your work . I did alter the bail a little differently But it looks often. I wish I could post pictures on here. I would show you! Or you can look at my Facebook!
ooo, that sounds lovely!
I have leather 'thimbles' that fit over the sides, pressure points, of my fingers while leaving my tips free. You could make yourself some from your scrap bin. They are kind of like custom sized band-aids in shape, i riveted some and stitched some.
Awesomeness!
I havent started wire wrapping yet. I do beading necklace watches earrings, bracelets, anklets. But the classes for wire wrapping are out of my price range. I m trying to get some learning from you! And I must say you are the perfect instructor. Thank you so much for all the different levels of wire work. Is there any way you could do a tutorial for watches? I make things fir Christmas and birthday gifts and a western style would be wonderful.
such talent
Thank you, Robert!
great job
lewis irvine thanks! :)
Just got my first Fire Mountain Gems catalog in the mail today.
Hehe, right on!
Pretty
Thank you, Rosa!!
This technique is the answer to wrapping my small carved angel of stone. The frame will hug it securely.
I love this one. I'm going to try it tomorrow. I have little black plastic beads I'm going to use. i can't wait. p.s. I love your humming!
Hehe, thanks Ronie! I would love to see what you make! If you have questions or want to share pictures, my facebook is facebook.com/Back-to-Earth-Creations-232879571674/
Yvonne Williams sure. I LOVE this piece I just did. I'll post it to your page now. :)
Yvonne Williams wait... lol i posted the wrong pic. oh well lol
Have you tried using a leather thimble to protect your fingers from blisters? I have some I bought at Joanns that are great for that. They are made by Clover.
HOW DO YOU HAVE SUCH HEALTHY, GORGEOUS NAILS?!?!
I also use my fingernails for pushing wire down into place, but I have distinctly worn grooves and cracks in my nails from doing it. How do you keep yours so well-manicured without destroying them with this kind of work?
I am really blessed with strong nails; I maintain all of my skin with vitamin e oil and I think that benefits my nails as well. I also eat a high protein/fat diet and drink tons of water
I tried this pattern for my very first wire weaving rock. It too turned out reversible!!! Thank you for sharing! You are so calm and easy to listen to! Happy Crafting. ;)
Awesome!! If you are on facebook or instagram I would love to see pics of what you made, if you are into sharing pictures of your work :)
Yvonne Williams as soon as I figure out how to do instagram I would love to share. .. ha
Beautiful ❤️🇩🇰
hola mi nombre es laura, gracias por este video tan bien explicado
Laura Rivera ¡Hola! ¡gracias por ver! Me alegro que hayas disfrutado :)
Your work is so beautiful! Do you sell your pieces?
Thank you sooo much. You are extremely nice to listen too and your teaching method AWWWESOME. Just a quick question about the wire. Do you use round or half round? Fairly new to weaving and want to get it right. THANK YOU 😊😊😊
Mary Skorstad in this tutorial I am using round wire :) I'm glad you like my videos! thanks for watching :p
So I have now done 6 seed beads on that bezel setting so far - oh my aint it pretty!!!
Thank you very much indeed)))
I think i am going to try and do my first ever piece in 3 colours - copper (i apply patina), silver and brass, on a largish lemon quartz briolette plus swarovsky diamond cut in a matching colour

But patreon won't let me register properly, perhaps cos i am in russia
xxx
DIYmanic that sounds like it is going to be stunning! and I don't know what's up with patreon, but thanks for trying!
This is fantastic, thank you. Question: are we allowed to sell the pieces we make from your videos? Or should we just use them for inspiration? Thanks!
Heya, Fan Girl! I don't mind a bit if you sell that pieces you make using any of my tutorials :-D

This looks beautiful but so much work. I would love to get into wire wrapping but what would someone charge for all this work? Thoughts?
Hey, Ginny! I charged $30 for this piece, but most folks could charge a LOT more, especially if it were made with silver instead of enameled copper. I have heard many times that I should charge more for my work, but the market that I sell in (anime, comic, and sci fi conventions) isn't a demographic necessarily flush with disposable income. If (hopefully when!) you get into wire wrapping, you will be the best judge of what you should and can price your work at, as no one knows better than you the amount of work you put into it and no one knows better than you your market and clients.

Finally hear someone else say their hands hurt. I can't wrap 4 wires together because my hands cramp up as soon as I start
🤗I have heard other crafter say they use bandage tape to save their skin from calluses.
Thanks so much for the wonderful tutorial! Does the beginning weave have a name?
Whitney, I am glad you like it! I don't know if it has a name or not :/ we could think of something, though! :P
:)
Great work. But you don’t center it in the middle of the screen often..kinda hard to watch.
Can u use 24g instead of 26g?
Where do you buy your crystals? Or rocks I’m not sure what to call them when I’m looking for them
Hey, Alexandra! I get a lot of my crystals, gems, and beads from fire mountain gems
44:48 Um... ok.. You're my mom now and I love you
Do you use wax or protectaclear or anything like that to seal in the wire to keep it from tarnishing? I've been oxidizing my copper and wanted to find something to seal it before I attempt to give any as gifts.
Hey, Natasha! Everything I have used eventually needs reapplied, but PYM II is probably my favorite; it goes on fast as a spray, leaving a very even coating that isn't sticky and doesn't discolor. I use one coat on the front and multiple on the back sides of pieces that will tarnish. The rest of the time I use coated wire from www.parawire.com
Thank you! I eyed out Parawire and may order some. The bare copper from Arcor direct is around $8-$9 per pound when you order in heavy bulk but parawires antiqued copper looked like it may be worth the 2.5-3x cost different just to not have to coat or stress any tarnish. :)
Are you doing the 5 weaves on two outer wires on both ends or 1 outer wire? So then you leave the 2 middle wires for the bead?
I think I am just doing the outtermost wire; if you could give me a time stamp of when in the video you are asking about that would help a lot! :)
Never mind Yvonne, I think I got it. I see that first you grab 2 of the outermost wires and wrap once, then you wrap 5 times around the single wire. Correct?
Beautiful work but I couldn’t hardly see the weaving between the wires maybe you wasn’t zoomed in enough I messed up twice , I think I’m going to sit this one out , but your work is beautiful though , thank you
can you use that same style to use for a cabochon?
I do think so, though you may need some wires going across the back to make things extra secure. I may revisit this pattern, demonstrating with a cabochon! :)
🌻❤
