From a vet, don't worry about compensation for the necramechs, we chillin. Just make new players comfy, that's more important.
Fr, maxed out fortuna right before the changes but I'm not salty, it's good enough to know a mid system will be better for future players, It would be too hard to track and a drain on resources to do otherwise.
The problem is that we might end up with a situation like the universal medallion where 1 single guy complaining about all his "hard work and efford" being wasted is enough to make DE give up on a change that would benefit the majority of players.
ngl i’m not even a vet but i recently solo grinded for a necramech and railjack and i honestly don’t much care for compensation for it if the grind gets easier. i think it’s worth it if it’s easier for new players, even if i get nothing in compensation y’know
idk for one I'm fine, but I just finished Bonewidow, so I wouldnt mind some compensation. Ofc wouldn't be salty or nasty about it, but it'd be nice. At the end of the day: smoother progress curve for new and/or returning players is always a plus.
Would be nice to make them useable in all content, eh
I think the fact that they even acknowledged crafting times is a good thing. Like, they hear us and its being discussed internally in a meaningful way.
It personally doesn't effect me cause ill be back regardless, but i know its a turn of for newer players and understand why it would be.
They didn't hear US, cause people were talking about it for years.
A big streamer recently finished playing through Sacrifice quest and commented that new players at the very least need something similar to teach them how to craft a new warframe, and that crafting time in general needs to be addressed.

@@FerunaLutelou They're bringing it up here because somebody asked about it in chat, and the subsequent discussion was about how they talk about it constantly internally. I don't know where you got the idea that they were bringing it up because of a big streamer.

Crafting times is a farmville-esque player retention/monetization tactic that is way too good at what it does for DE. The most I can ever see them doing is maybe making warframes take like 48 hours instead.
As a early grinder for necramechs, don't worry about us, it's important to me that new players have easier and quicker methods to get into the content that makes warframe enjoyable and fun.
not like they dont already have tons of older content to play first XD
@@lainiwaku Yeah, with only 2 frame slots (where the 2nd frame takes 3 and a half days to craft not counting the farming time) and a few weapon slots which cannot even cover all the basic weapons you can buy only with credits at MR1 (not BPs, the pre-built ones). New players need to find their playstyle and it is not really motivating for the new player to tell them "Spend your money so you can get to know if you will enjoy this game or not"
I really liked the honest conversation about compensation for earlier grinds. I grinded for the necramech and I personally don't feel like I need compensation, but in any case, thank you for listening to feedback that might not be so positive.
Two of my friends skipped the nekramec farm when they saw the vault bounties once.
And both purchased it ready from the market.
yeah personally i think owning a necramech for so long in itself is its own compensation because of the fact we were able to use them for years and for things like operation orphix venom and being able to farm isolation vaults and stuff on open worlds more effectively whereas those without them wouldnt.
Same, I grinded the Necramech when it launched, and honestly, it's been years, I don't need to get compensated for that grind, it's done. I am happy for newer players who get it reduced, no need to..what, give me Deimos resources?No, thank you.
I also don't feel the need for compensation, I think the game improving is reward enough, and being too worried about changes stepping on the toes of oldies who did things the hard way was what led to universal medallions not applying to conclave, which I still think is a great shame because more players seeing that farm as remotely doable and starting it might have led to more people actually playing the game mode for faster progression.
I STILL haven't crafted the Voidrig cuz of the material requirements despite being MR29. I'm actually really glad they're making the necramech grind more comfortable since I definitely remember that the reason why I stopped paying attention to it was cuz I found the grind exhausting and just ended up buying Bonewidow on the market.
Albrechts labs could definitely have a dinosaur in it.

For the new player crafting time problem, the quickest solution I'd recommend would be rush drones, like the Railjack rush repair drones, they'd give a free crafting rush. You could give 5 or so to all new players and make them possible rewards for sorties and daily logins.

Don't, rush drones are another source of "oh this is tooootally p2w" that newbies will likely first thought of.
Maybe reduce normal weapon crafting times to 1 hour but keep prime weapons to 12 hours, and a frame build time to 12 hours but prime frame build times can stay the same
1hr for parts and 12hrs for main bp. Love that yall are revisiting the game so much. Everything you touch has a mayor impact on every type of player. New players get a better experience while we get an easier time. Honestly there is some content in the game I haven’t touched as much because i think the team is going to make it better eventually.

I think we shouldn't receive any compensation for how it is to build Necramech. It's awesome that new players won't have to suffer as much for an older system that is improving. Maybe a sigil to show that we where there would be enough. The fact I already can use the thing I farmed is already enough of reward.
12h to build pieces on top of 72h to put a frame all together has always been too much. Even some weapons suffer from this (parts plus final item). It would be a huge thing to reduce all craftings to 24h total at max.
I absolutely love these shorts. Even when not playing Warframe actively some weeks/months, I still watch these. It's both informative and.. cozy?

Request for more AK/dual pistol skins. After 11 years we only got 1 to play with!
(I keep coming back to mention this every time till it gets noticed and dealt with!)
What we need isn't specifically dual pistols skins, but more "general weapon type" skins, half a dozen per weapon type would be a good start.
True other weapon types could use some love as well. (Looking at dual swords for example, etc) but the AK pistols should be the easiest and quickest step to be taken.
Just the fact that single secondaries get 12+ skins with the AK's just having a revolver skin is just diabolical after 11 years of WF.
We need some assault rifle skins honestly the Oscira skin is...okay..
Just got back into Warframe after 2 years away. I played on PS4, but built a gaming pc and couldn't transfer all my stuff from Warframe, so I moved on.
I'm so happy that I can play now with all of my original hard work. I have a lot of stress in my life, but Warframe brings me so much happiness. No stress, no griefing, just a good community with a great game that keeps growing.
I am so thankful that I decided to give Warframe another go.
I would say Loki and Trinity need an Heirloom skin the most seeing as they have the fewest not tennogen options out of the original 8.

@@redfury0385 I thought the idea was these are ment for older frames. Also they do do frame reworks. Inaros, Frost, some changes to Ember. There is no reason to not do that with Loki and Trinity especially to help sell a skin. Something they have done before.
Checked the primes by release date, Rhino would be next unless they decide to do Excalibur.
@@austinmiller2170 Didn't notice that it was by Primes. At least Loki would be after Rhino if that stays true. Trinity however was number 10, not including Excal. At least she has a popular delux so it's not too bad.

I love that yiu guys are willing to cater to newer players and make the game easier to get into at the start. I have friends that i really want to play this gane with but getting started can be really overwhelming which drives a lot of people away

WF needs to add a lock feature when rolling rivens that maybe you can lock in one stat you want. add some type of cost but..

I only wished for a status comparison between old and new rolls, like, locking the two states of a riven, so you can test it on the simulation room before deciding on a final version to use on normal gameplay.
They would have to make them untradable otherwise riven market would crash and players would be pissed. Although i do ultimately support a total riven rework. We need different challenges.
It is cute that you buffed Ember to make her more appealing to play after all this time, just so you can sell the Heilroom skin to potentially more people... i assume all the old warframes won't get this treatment unless they get a Heilroom skin.
I appreciate them being open to criticisms about old grinds, but I'm really moreso thankful that they're fixing them than miffed that I had to go through them and now people don't.
There's two ways to look at something bad after you've gone through it, no matter how severe or mundane it could be. First being "I had to go through this, so others should too", and the other being "I had to go through this, but no one else should".
The first is just petty, and indicative of a selfish or childish demeanor. The second is a more mature and empathetic response.
As someone who went though things like Necramechs and Fortuna standing before they were touched up, I'll admit it was rough and it really put me off of doing them for a long time. Now that they're done though, I'm glad that newer players can get to them with ease, and all I really need in return is my chance to tell stories of how things were "back in my day" like the crotchety old man I was destined to be.
Crafting time is the main thing that makes it hard to get friends into Warframe. Really hope to hear more about their thoughts on it.

*probably not gonna talk about this, but i have two things on my mind for you if you can.
*QUESTION ONE: are you planing to have the same color change effect when it comes to warframe armor like other enemies armor? EX: Infested enemies from a low LV have red colored HP for LOW/NO ARMOR, higher LV infested have HIGH/MEDIUM ARMOR so the HP changes color to fit it.
*QUESTION TWO: please for the love of Lotus- do you have ANYTHING you can share with us on Stalker Mode?
*like- ANYTHING, i've been waiting ever since the first time it was shown in Tenno-con- PLEASE!

18:47 - Talking with my friends, we generally agree the times should be 1/3 what they are. A warframe taking 20 hours seems ideal, because you're logically going to craft your new frame at the end of a play session, so you have a big draw to come back the next day to play again because it'll be ready and waiting.
Weapon parts taking 12 hours, followed by another 12 hour build period (see the most egregious example: Ruvox. 24 hours of crafting the same two parts twice, then 12 more hours for the main blueprint) also feels bad. Parts shouldn't take more than an hour (something to keep you playing "just a little longer") with the weapon itself taking 4-12 hours. 12 hours, fine, it's a drag but I can deal with picking it up tomorrow. 4 hours, if I manage to build something at the earlier part of a play session for the evening, I might be able to enjoy it for a while before bed.
And why can't we craft minerals in bulk? Why does it take me 5 minutes to craft hespazym alloy to make a chassis (that takes 12 hours to make a warframe that takes 72 hours)? Why not just let us build those things en masse instantly? Basically everything that currently takes 1 minute is a pointless wait. >P

@@SailorPupitar not sure about the sanctum and orphix but the conjunction survival only allow it for a few minutes. i mean a designated mode where they play a heavy role not just a side machine to use against heavy units
@@qraidthey are pretty good in the Sanctum. Very useful in Deep Archimedea and Netracells is you know don't play solo.
Its great that we have a possibility to make a tauforged shards form a little one but can we have an exchanger to shards but not like 4 to 1 or 3 to 1 but 1 for 1 + a good chunk stela on top for each exchange.
Invis being Auxillary conflicts with certain cosmetics like the bunny ears from easter. Tbh if it could have its own slot for the invis, and be available to all frames (to account for abilities from allies granting invisibility), that might work?
This is just an idea with each time you rank up in mastery the timer is reduced by a certain percentage...
So much able to be done with this game your DE team has crafted. Keep it going and look back sometimes to see things you should bring forward....like More Deluxe skinned frames with different powers

Can we please get more useful items in the focus stores? Cosmetics are great and all bt how about some endgame stuff or consumables like aura forma. Maybe some arcanes? Ive got over 6mil focus and nothing to do with it. Or maybe the an exilis forma so we can run ANY exilis mod for half capacity. Orrr augment mod slot adapter for 1mil focus? Now that jade has 2 aura slots we know another mod slot is possible. 😂 I get why each focus store has basically the same items but i think giving an incentive or reward for maxing multiple schools would be fine.

I could see that working with the new hovering crown system, so you could adjust the height/how much was sticking out to better fit whatever helmet you are adding them to. Otherwise I think it'd have to be built into a helmet

I skip doing daily sorties because deep archmedia, netracells, circuit, steel path circuit, and all the formating and leveling up things takes up all my week time in game.

Maomao was the best character to come out of those two seasons, but it was a close race. Maomao also cheated a bit, being voiced by Aoi Yuki, who never disappoints.

We need that all sentient cores can be converted into focus, even if its capped, and if that doesn't seem like a good idea, the quills should sell relics too, as sentient cores become useless after maxing them and getting all the arcanes.
Edit: please stop making the game easier, even my sentinel kills a lot on elite deep archimedea.

Unlimited riven slots, I have over 150 I can't use. Just make it MR 30, help out the end game user. No reason to have a cap, make people happy. This is the only thing I care about.

There is actually a reason. Steve once said that the rivens take too much space on the server, due to their nature, they probably were simplified multiple times for the same reason.
Since every riven is unique, and there are one for each weapon available in game, it gets out of hand quickly.
So, they had to make it expensive for the player to have more rivens, think not about you alone, but the entire game making rivens, and if each player take 1 megabyte of space saving data about rivens, it would scale to petabytes really quickly.
I have about 200 I can't use... have the 180 slots... with so many new weapons each year, just make it unlimited already. Rivens even drop from so many sources.

Crafting timers dont need to go away. There needs to be a new player quest right after you get your ascaris negator off that leads you to Jackal, gets you the Rhino parts and makes it a special craft just like Umbra, concluding the mission with a 2nd frame (with slot) and an explanation that this craft was 'enhanced' somehow, maybe a precept of Ordis to get the operator prepared for the coming battle, and that moving forward acquiring frames can be done by defeating bosses (along with a few other ways you'll just have to play to find out!) and will take the full 84 hr minimum to craft without rushing anything.
^^ This right here will also help steer the new players in the right direction and better understand how to get further in the game.
Railjacks... when all 4 players are loading in at the same time the railjack with the highest intrinsics should be the default. Or you should have an 'always host' option(which could also default to highest intrinsics if multiple people have queued with the option on), because ive tried the 'double click the node and it will wait for a group' option and it never works, I always just get thrown onto some randoms base level ship trying to do their first lich, just wishing my much higher leveled railjack wasnt stuck back in drydock.
and lastly, a FORMA x3 Blueprint. Let it take 72 hours, but let it be built alongside the 1 forma blueprint. The only thing stopping my current gameplay progression is not being able to put forma into things. I buy plenty of bundles, let me craft a few more every few days....
