Critique and complain, again and again. If you have feedback, take it to the forums and make it constructive. THANK YOU for another great content release -- SO much has been added in the last few years that it's incredible that the platform can keep updating. On first drives, this car feels like it will be fantastic, and I do hope it becomes the Ferrari Challenge car ASAP. Cheers!
I love this car. Just one thing to point out: the wiper is not visible when you drive it. Not that it matters that much anyways, but I just wanted to point it out. Nonetheless the 296 is a beast and I am in love! Greetings from Germany!
Audi is killing their customer racing program to focus on F1. No reason to produce both the Lambo and the Audi on the same platform and drive train tbh.
Aww, I thought for once we were going to actually see the trailing car challenge the lead car for position... All these videos (except for this one - thought it was going to happen earlier in the run to the chicane in the back stretch, lol) always seem to fade out just as that's about to happen, haha. Anyway, it's cool to see this car come to iRacing so relatively quickly, considering that it made its debut this year. Also a bit sad to think that some features of the car aren't exactly things that shine in a racing sim, such as the its modular design that makes critical endurance racing tasks such as changing brakes for easier/quicker maintenance by crews during a race... Or are these things factored into iRacing's repair algorithm?
how can i make such cameras in iracing? there is an option to make a chase camera that track another car? i would realmly appreciate some help on that!
I'd you hit Ctrl+F12 in the replay menu you get up a hidden, custom camera control menu. From here you can change focus, plain of focus, exposure, type of motion/lockpn focus and more. In addition you can use WASD and ALT+W/S to move the camera around in different ways. If you hit spacebar the entire UI goes away, but you can still use WASD and ALT+W/S while everything is hidden and get these types of planning and moving shots. As a last tip, if you hot CTRL+Z while you have the custom camera menu open you can free move the camera with your mouse. Combining that with the other controls you can get sick shots, especially if you have a joystick or gamepad bound to your mouse axis for super smooth movements with the CTRL+Z free move stuff.
Haven't come back to iracing in years... Let me guess another $10-15 bucks per car and another $15 for each track?? Do you have to buy gas for each race at $4.99 a gallon yet?
are you tripping? They've got reflexions inside and this is a compressed youtube video.... omg guys don't b°tch around like that. The car ingame is fine.
12th by my count. Only 4 I believe are the current model. I mean IDK what you expect when it's the most popular platform for top racing series. IMSA, WEC (2024), SRO, Ceventric, NLS, and probably a half dozen or more other series widely using the platform
@hippyjason I mean that's what they do in real life. There was the original (17?) 488 gt3 that got replaced by the EVO (20) and then got replaced by a new chassis, 296 (23). I mean sure they could bring in new manufacturers but it could be down to licensing. That's the plague of every racing game from NFS to iRacing.
A year ago I bought the Ferrari that just became legacy content. Now it turns out that you don't return even a small amount of money and I have to buy a new car. thieves.
If you are happy with a company that does not guarantee a minimum usage time when purchasing a product, I am happy for you. I don't think the same. With other cars, during the first year around 25% was returned, it is no excuse
@@alejandroarcosteruel8450 Exactly, learn to respect others. Don't spam posting useless comments. If for you spending $12 and then use a car for a year is a bad spend then it's simply not for you. iRacing team does great job by updating the sim. You should simply pass by. iRacing is not the cheapest sim on the market. Find what you can afford.
Why cant we test drive new content? I invested in the last ferrarri, tracks, and liveries. But now i have to do that all over again and i cant even try out the new car. Im aware you have a simp customer base, but it could be so much larger if you allowed us to try the new content, rather than forking out over 100 bucks a season for ONE championship, where you dont even know if you like the car. And yes you can buy the car and then wait to buy tracks, but then that means your charging just to have effectively what is a test drive. Your pricing models are ridiculous. Again, just let us test drive, if you insist on ripping people off. Imagine going to a dealership and saying oh id like a test drive, for them to say sure, just buy the car and you can try it. 🤦🤦 even just 5 laps would be enough, you could actually make more if you sorted out your ridilcous pricing models. Its like trying to buy a ferari in real life. Been on the service for nearly a year, and struggling to see why i should remorgtage to stay on it. Plus dont even start me on the penalty system and lack of driving standards. Practice all week, only to not actually be able to race, because you have to tip toe around in case of getting rammed from behind, the side, rejoiners etc. And your solid grind on SR which trickles up is then samshed in 1 race because of a dirty/reclkless driver. And no, irating or split makes no difference. People still have no real racecraft even in higher splits. Its a sim, thats fine, but when you're charging hundreds of pounds to race each year, its just not worth it. Infact i think ive just talked myself out of continuing woth the service. Such a shame, could be so much more than it is. Could be so much more of what it should be.
haha.. it's like 12 bucks or something man. haha.. I find it funny how people get all upset about 12 bucks when they've invested thousands in a proper computer... then that much again in a wheel and pedal set, etc. I have over 10 grand in my setup. When I dished out 12 bucks a couple of days ago, it was like a tiny itty bitty drop in the bucket man. Let's see... I paid 12 dollars two nights ago... raced it on Nords twice that night, then another last night and then raced on the Ferrari fixed one... So that's like 4 hours of game play and it costs me 12 bucks... so around 3 bucks an hour for two amazing nights of fun. Iracing is cheap compared to all the other sims I find. At least for dollar per fun ratio. Like where else can you race people from all around the world from your house at like 3am... It rules...
@@dannygaron I see that argument all the time - Is iRacing expensive? Sure - but iRacing has provided updates every quarter like clock work for as long as I can remember. Just buy what you see yourself driving at some point, or what you need to compete in specific series.
I wish I felt more immersed in VR with iRacing. I hope it get's a next gen update or something. Even RF2 managed to update their graphics in recent years. Massive difference as older content looks ugly too with that game. Don't mind paying if iRacing did this. Still have anther year subscription but hardly like playing all the content I bought. Money should not be an issue for iRacing to have a team work on this.
What would you like to see improved in iRacing to feel more immersed in VR? I feel it brings its own level immersion already, and sure the visual fidelity in the newer titles is greater. I hardly notice once I'm racing however. I am capable of maxing the settings and pushing my resolution high in the headset. Outside of hand movements for button/pot/switch adjustment and some graphics overhaul, doesn't get much better as it is imo. It may not be worth the effort to do so at this time. I agree tho, I would like to see something done as well. Maybe in the future.
