You are misleading on this subject! To correctly apply Gluv-It you should flip Jon boat upside down and apply on the bottom ( outside ) ! Works sooo much better to seal only the rivets to exterior of boat ! You , by applying to the inside of boat , you are trying to seal the inside ribs of boat to the hull and hoping the Gluv - It will ALSO SEAL the rivets . Way to expensive to HOPE for results! PLEASE do it correctly if you want others to follow your suggestions. Your welcome and I'm sure others will appreciate my comment .
No joke, I love this stuff. Marine-Tex Gluvit Epoxy - amzn.to/3lV0VCw
Do you recommend this on the outside also? Or do you like the Goop Coat it for outside ?thanks
Great job bud!!Thks for the info this will be my next project
No problem 👍
No leaky rivets on my project boat but a couple very slow drips from seams. Is this stuff a good option?
For sure, works the same way for seams
How much psi should I use without damaging the boat.
I don't have an exact number, I started low and turned it up until I got results. I was far from max.
How many cans of primer and spray paint do you estimate? I have a 13.5 foot v hull sears boat i need to paint the interior
1primer and 4 cans for the interior
@@mvboutdoors is that for a single coat
Would you recommend that I use this or the goop coat it if im having most of my leaks coming from in between the ribs on the bottom of my boat?
Gluvit applied on the inside from the top, Coat-It applied on the outside.
Do you have a link for that air hammer you’re using for the rivets? I think I found it, but want to be sure.
I got mine at Harbor Freight but if you were looking to order one here is basically the same thing: amzn.to/3wV3FbI
@@mvboutdoors thanks. And you just ordered a separate kit with the bits for hammering rivets.
Yeah I had to purchase them separate, this is what I used: amzn.to/3wUP8wp

An epoxy coating was already applied to the bottom of this boat. Gluvit can also be applied from the inside as well.
