I love how in base funkin the characters all have a legit reason to rap battle eachother. Darnell was just trying to get Pico to run out of ammo so they could then kill him. He knew exactly how much ammo Pico had. He just didn't consider his lighter fluid.
Also, in the original Pico's School series, Nene is Asian, due to this she dons black hair and yellow skin. Later on, her skin is changed because of how touchy it can be to certain people.

I know the funkin devs straight up say that Pico and BF are exes and it's very much hinted at in-game (the instrumental in the cutscene where Pico thinks about BF is literally called "Gay" XD) but I kinda wished they left that in, because people are still in denial about it.
I think it's cause it'd be too obvious. Maybe they wanna wait until they tell Pico's backstory properly to show that sort of thing. Or maybe it just got lost in translation lol

As someone who first played Pico's School, Darnell Plays With Fire, Nene's Interactive su!cide, Pico VS Bear, Pico VS Uberkids, and the DX version of VS Bear, (I'm 16 now, and the only reason why I found out about Pico's School was because I played FNF when I was 13 in 2020, and i found out about him), I noticed most of these details. Not the A-Bot one though. Nice to see all these references though!!!

Something not brought up here about the "Talkin' Smack" track, there is actually 2 versions of Pico's School, as originally the game used copyrighted music, the first release actually used Hive's Ultrasonic Sound track for those moments. Its very obvious when listening to FNF's version of Talkin' Smack that its actually based on the original track used in Pico's School, instead of the new track it was replaced with (which in itself is clearly made to be a legally legally distinct take on that original track as well).
