I've been playing this game since open beta or whatever it was. In any case for a long time. I only got legend this month. Never have before. Never thought I ever would. And most likely never will again. But I believe most people can manage to do it atleast once. If I can, than it is possible for you.

you call this an aggro meta? you should see what people were playing the first couple years of the game. hearthstone has been an absolute timmy metagame for the last year or two, it's amazing. it's like rock paper scissors, except instead of "aggro > combo > control > aggro" it's more like "combo > big beefy durdle > control > midrange > combo." although wild is still pretty aggressive
this deck is delightful to play always appreciate you trying to clean up blizzard's balance mess with fresh decks

Been trying this deck, surprisingly competitive and very fun. Against aggro Tidal Wave is just the MVP, healed 50 on a game against hunter thanks to them
I been thinking awhile of a control build ,this looks good and fun ,i will try this for sure.Typically i end up changing a card or two because idk i just tend to face the same decks over and over Warlock and PLD and mage.I truly despise Tickatus it disrupts every single deck and warlock is the ONLY class that can do this which is extrmely unbalanced along with the best removal in the game with Cascading and Twisting the only card that removes the entire board.So with this deck Cthun will never go off versus Warlock.
I do like these kill-everything control decks. It's been a while since I've had a go with those, aside from the DMH warrior I play in my occasional forays to Wild.
Too bad they're unplayable in Standard against Tickatus and Ilgynoth. Tickatus is pretty much the only thing keeping Priest from taking over high legend, so I'm not going to complain too loudly.
Kibler is a great man with awesome brain power and tremendous choice of music for the videos. Ty for great content!

I don't think I've ever seen Kibler as thoroughly disgusted with a deck as he is with Lunacy mage.
Also, don't I remember him saying quite recently that shaman doesn't have enough good healing for this meta?
I have seen him more disgusted with one deck in particular. Quest Rogue from Un'goro. Brian doesn't curse on stream but he took exception to Quest Rogue and called it bullshit. Lol he hated it so much
He did yeah. But this deck has literally (outside of Circus Medic?) all the healing that it can, and it had to include C'Thun just to make Groundskeeper playable.

I agree fireheart seems a lot better for probably every shaman deck except aggro
@@erdem2382 Lurker's a 6 mana zoo clear with a big body, so look around 5-6 mana range for another minion close to it, or just settle for the clear with Lightning Storm, i would say until you can get it.

I feel like maybe vaashj has a cool spot in the deck providing both a cheap spell damage minion and a good draw plus reduce for cthun spells or whatever else you hit

Flow into Lunacy isn't necessarily a throw. With one Flow before Deck of Lunacy, all your Flamestrikes (and Masks of C'thun if you've got them) turn into guaranteed Librams of Hope. In the right matchup, that's a lot better than a 50% shot at Nagrand Slam. Plus, there's a lot more card draw at 6 than at 7, so turning your 4-drops into 6-drops can help you get to the good stuff easier. Didn't seem to help the Mage in this case though.
@@hiimemily yeah but they played one on turn 4 too; the first flow before lunacy is fine, but the second one, especially when casting lunacy the same turn, is definitely a throw

They also drew last thing of their turn like three times. I'm surprised that Mage is in legend.
I like control decks, but against tickatus warlock, it's almost always an auto loss :/ Only deck I might have a chance with is priest. I don't see a way to get C'Thun out before second tickatus in this deck other than setting up Taelan a turn before playing last piece and somehow getting him dead the same turn. Seems like a tall order.

Yah, which means their 7 mana spells will not turn into cheap Nagrand Slams
I sometimes did that on purpose vs. aggro, to fill my deck with librams of hope. No reason to here though, the burn would have been better.

Novice Zapper seems like a pretty strong card. It's a Cult Sorceror that you can tempo out on turn 1. I'm surprised it doesn't see play. 1 mana spell damage generally seems pretty powerful.
Decks of every kind seem to have too much removal at the moment so the higher stats of 3/2 are irrelevant as every class can kill it instantly
Yeah, Shaman is a stand out with a lot of spell generation and healing potential

@@mrbullmrbull yeah, the meta seems to be quite hard counters at the moment. You are right, it really doesn’t have a great win condition against that deck. A lot of the otk demon hunters are at higher legend, but it is not as popular as some of the other demon hunter decks per the moment. So maybe still okay to run a list like the one in the video for now. If more Otk or control warlock becomes more of the meta it would probably not be great to play most control Shaman strategies due to the reactive nature of many of their tools.

Probably, she's nuts in any deck with playable spells and this has a lot of playable spells. I'd cut a minion, probably Lurker or one of the Primordials.
They should have made nozdormu the Eternal. 6 mana. Bame every match is 15secs
How it works on Paladin or Warlock?
Probably doesn't against warlock, like any other C'Thun deck.
Now this kind of deck looks awesome to play - anyone having success with it besides Kibler?
Ok so after testing as i figured it loses to Warlock every time even though i take it too fatigue yo ucan't match the value of theFREE 6/6 taunts,cascading and tickatus .The real problem however was trying to outlast fatigue but can't play the 8 cost heal card because it is too costly meaning it is the ONLY card i could play.3 dmg does not kill the 6/6/ including Juraxxus 6/6 so by 3 turns you no longer keep up with the heal and you have no minions on board.So as usual Twisting wipes my board whieleShaman has lousy 1 on 1 removal.Thre lies the other weakness of the build,too many single removal does not win long games.Shaman should have received Cascading NOT warlock since Warlock already had Twisting nether which is best removal in game.

MTGO is a different (much older) client/service than MTGA.
Oh my tracker says i face Warlock 38% the time which is not only insane but says how badly Warlock SHOULD have been nerfed but was not .How many people brought SHMN to GM ..lol.HS team ftw fire all of them.
Ive made this deck with some modifications ive hadd Lady Vashj,mo'arg artificer,(pretty good with tidal wave & Tidal Surge ) , Kel'thuzad,lightning storm,chain lightning,and Bru'Kan,im not saying my version is better,i just say it sound more good to me with my preferences feel free to check out for who want or not : imgur.com/izBe9XK
(Thx for the inspiration Brian i use to play control shaman cause back with earthquake and hagatha schemes it was the class who have the more control cards now it's warlock,but the lightning storm who deal 3 now is pretty good too against early sticky minions,and aggro,i just hadd no inspirations and getting sick of geting beat by unoriginal deck where im playing a fair and balanced deck,but i guess maybe it's just me,anyway good video dude ;) ).

Why is it my spell mage opponents always seem to get Clefthoof Rush 2 turns in a row every time they play lunacy, yet Kibbles plays against the one mage who gets junk.
