fun fact, the level Safety Box was updated since the recording of this video. in the changes, TEXT IS FLOAT, so you cant get rid of excess lava that way, and theres cliffs set up in such a way that you cannot access the "BOX" of BOX IS STOP at all, but can still get out "IS" and "STOP" for manipulation
TEXT IS FLOAT forces you to solve it with an elaborate multi-metamorphosis between Babas, Boxes, and Flags, but it's doable, and is clearly the intended solution.
Glad to see what is (probably) the correct solution for the Warehouse. Didn’t think about how the flag loses its “pull” mechanic for that 1 tick. I managed to get the “vertical baba is you beside the belt” strategy to work… eventually.
Huh, ditto. Eventually put together a stack that was able to have pull move by the pile of words for a turn to give me a turn of pulling text, and never used the second flag.
Yeah, I used one of the Flags on the Belt to knock "PULL" off of "TEXT IS PULL" so Baba doesn't get trapped, but Tyler's solution is IMO more ingenious.
The return to baba feels so great. Your original series got me to play the game originally and I rarely play games myself, but it was worth it. This update has been more than worth the wait!

In a later update they changed the "text is text" statement to "text is text and not you" and put it in the corner wedged above "level is level" but then "and" and "you" were over background objects so just making "text is sink" got rid of them.

Which is to say, "text near baba is flag" does nothing in this level, be it the version Tyler played or the updated one. You can use "near" in the solution, I think, but not in the way you're thinking. I'm pretty I didn't use near at all and solved it.

Safety Box 2 can be done by using HAS to keep making new objects while blasting away at the lava, which I think was the intended solution. I would like to see you revisit some earlier levels including, IIRC, Parakeet Bouncer which has been updated so your earlier solution won't work anymore.

i should've mentioned, the familiar world got two new levels RIGHT when you uploaded the video where you finished it (minus levels 7 and 8), so those will be there when you return to complete that world
Hi loved the return of baba i am pretty sure u can make in level 5 flag is level I saw the water is water and text is text so the fact that there isn't flag is flag make even more of a possabilty
on warehouse it had another solution, glad that there is because I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out a way to put the text in the right spots but you always had some text left over on the wall that you need, of you try to go for having text is pull for one turn like aliensrock said and then he figured out that you definitely do need the extra flag either for pushing text on the belt or having text shift onto it. It was so awful with the text though the lack of space isn't bad but I was 1 turn away so many times on his solution I just had to pull 'it' the right direction but I could never. It really does feel claustrophobic on that level despite how simple it really is. And you can't have a statement on the belt for 1 turn more than once like he had in his first attempt cause it would get stuck or just be useless. What a stressfully simple level
So last night, I stayed up to see this video. I decided to go to bed at about 10:50, I normally go to bed at 10, so I'm tires. I wake up, check RUclips, and the video released at... 11:00pm? Are you serious?
I think he recorded all of this in advance. RUclips allows you to schedule videos beforehand, so he probably just played the game in the middle of the day, made the video, then set it to release exactly when the next day comes by. He probably does get some good sleep.
All these videos are scheduled uploads. In the case of this video Tyler most likely put the final touches on it 6 hrs ago. (At the time of my comment) How do I know this? He comment 5 hrs before the video was published. That's only possible if the video was uploaded as unlisted, he comments, and then it's swapped to be a scheduled upload.
Haven't played much of Baba is You (I played a long time ago though I'm thinking of replaying it now), I'm concerned on why couldn't you just put 'Flag is Win' and touch the flag on the first level

Day 9 of recommedning Perspective for Tyler to play. I'm loving the Baba content and I know this will probably be the bulk of the channel for a while, but if you ever want a break Perspective is one of my favorite puzzle platformers from when I was in high school

iirc Eat was another one of those words; there was also Stick, but that was way too buggy, so it stayed scrapped

Just a heads up Tyler, you've got high contrast colours on, which negates a bunch of the colour palettes. You can turn it off in settings
He records a whole bunch of videos at once and releases them a few days apart. For the foreseeable future we're stuck with high contrast.
Does high contrast help with colorblindness? Or maybe it helps make the recording more visible overall. It might’ve been an intentional choice.
