If this Live audience is really Live, then there is a lady having the time of her life in that audience somewhere. She got her money's worth. Her laughter touched my soul. It was hilarious this show.
Of course it's a live audience, did you think they were using a laugh track🤔😆 all these late night shows are in front of a live audience. Also, Trevor has a segment called 'between the scenes' which is him interacting with the audience during commercials

@@terrancestaggers5940 I was one of those people. I was brokenhearted and furious when Jon left. Like with the times everything that changes but Trevor, once I got over the grief of Jon leaving turned the daily show into a different animal while still covering extremely important topics. I still follow Jon.

@@terrancestaggers5940 I was one of them! It took time for me to even give Trevor a chance I was so broken-hearted.
I wish he would do with John Oliver did a well as all his other ambitions. His tour does not include every city and not everyone can afford to go out to see him in person. One of my favorite parts of the show is that between the scenes which I can’t recall anyone ever doing. And that was without any writers or anything else. I’m going to miss his perspective terribly.

I'm consoling myself with the fact that whatever happens, I can't imagine that Trevor just shuts up and gets a job somewhere pushing papers or whatever.
I could 100% understand that he needs some down time, viewing all the madness of the last years and putting a positive or at least snarky spin on it must take its toll.
So he hope he's well, that he finds some peace and quiet to enjoy, and then is back with a tour / another show / pod-cast / whatever.
Because yes, I idea of having to face the horror show that is right-wing politics right now, without Trevor Noah?

I hate seeing his departure but will pray for his safety and well-being as he resumes his career as he desires. I will miss his brilliance and genius and his ability to imitate

My father was a railroad engineer throughout his life (after serving in the air force) and even hauled Bush Jr.'s campaign train as he previously had top secret clearance. That said; he was ALWAYS exhausted and they were only required to give 8 hours between shifts (and that includes drive time to and from work, an hour each way). So he often only managed a couple of hours sleep. He kept huge bags of sunflower seeds around because they helped keep him awake for his 12 hour shifts and was often cranky. Tons of changes need made FOR THE WORKERS and Biden had no right to step in. I voted for the man and will again in 2 years out of necessity since the choices are only black or white, no grays and the GOP is trying to cheat constantly and take away our rights.
And don't EVEN get me started on Elon...free speech means spewing hate as long as it's not about ELON himself. Stephen Colbert said it beautifully; "ELON, ELON, ELON ... WE DON'T HATE YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE FOR FREE SPEECH; WE HATE YOU FOR FREEING HATE SPEECH "
I’m not saying Biden can get it done, but will you be ok if Biden gets paid sick leave for EVERYONE? I absolutely agree the rail workers need it, deserve, and it’s a bit shocking this has even been a discussion. Personally, I think corporate greed is entirely to blame.

Do the Engineers not have the opportunity to bring Paid Sick Days to the table in the new year? Do Engineers in the US have a Benefits and Pension Package that affords them a number of Paid Days (eg 4 Months) if they fall ill to Cancer or another debilitating illness once the (now 1) paid sick day is used up?
He stepped in because it would've disrupted our food supply. The bill went through Congress and every single republican voted against it. That's what happened

A choice is when somebody tells me "you can have A or B, take your choice".
Those workers never had a choice between (A) a corporation that is happy to sacrifice their health in the name of profit or (B) a corporation that actively acknowledges their workers right to health and a life outside of work.
And the next choice, "well, then fight for your rights, otherwise it's your fault" isn't a choice either when the balance of power is rigged by, e.g. corporations having the legal /financial power to loophole out of existing rules or just ignore them outright, existence of monopolies so train workers can only work for one company, absence of laws stipulating minimum R&R time, sick days ...
Under circumstances like that, pretending that workers have a choice looks at best naive. At worst, it is cynical.
With such a power imbalance the government _should_ intervene to create an equality of power. That's what laws are for.
What I find deeply depressing is seeing that this intervention fails to do that.

On this thread someone commented above my telegraph comment that I had won Christmas prizes for being a loyal follower. They gave a telegraph address set up for the scam. Went to telegraph and message the address. They said yes I remember messaging you. They asked for a copy of the utube message to prove it was me. Then they deleted that post from RUclips. They strung me along and they said pick which delivery price you want. Scam. They try to send pseudo psych quotes to get you think you’re a loser and not bold enough to go for it, you’re losing out on money, phones, expensive designer jacket, and more. My warning to this channel was deleted. Beware of scammers. ups doesn’t charge you money from your cc over the phone to guarantee delivery.

Trevor needs to move on and make more money I believe he's going into streaming just like after so many years Howard Stern after being amazingly successful on free radio went to cable TV and then move to satellite you have to pay to listen just like a woman that used to be on CNN she was so successful now she's streaming I believe Trevor is doing the same thing you'll be able to check him out for free with repeats and on RUclips but if you want to catch him live you'll have to kick out a few dollars

The "office party" participation is real here too. If your coworkers can't get in your personal business after hours , it is considered as you having a problem. The military missing assets does not surprise me. We were constantly missing items from our unit. They either were loaned out, or sent to the mechanic shop, or possibly even stolen. All I know, is once it left the unit, is was almost always forgotten about and something new was bought to replace it
