This was our first time in Mississippi. I think it would be even more fun in the warmer months. And it is only an hour away from New Orleans so you can definitely experience both cities. We had a good time even though it was cold, and there were still things we didn’t see. You should try it.

Yes, we hopped in the jeep and rode out! The restaurant was amazing! They had drinks including lychee (our fav!), surf and turf with African caught lobster, “eclectic” sushi etc. Greyson loved the aquarium, and we also had high hopes for New Orleans due to the time of year, but everything was shut down 😔.

Yes visiting the gulf and New Orleans specifically is a must! The Po-boys, seafood, daiquiris, hand grenades, hurricanes (drink), culture, parades, music, language (accents), bourbon street, etc are like no other. Put it on your bucket list!!

It was good. It was mostly seafood (by the water), creole, Cajun inspired dishes etc. hope that helps. Good food though.
