This day i have been looking forward to for a long time the time has come to get the scissor lift in the garage for my cars finally got one and a very good price
Another big part to the workshop and the future cars coming in its really looking like a working car garage now
I have come a long way from my garage at home thanks for all your support

You struck gold again with getting that lift at that price. As you said it came along at the right time and a great price. It's going to make jobs easier for you and your body. Your slowly getting there with the equipment as and when you can afford it

I just bought the Draper Expert one.. Same lift more or less.. £2995.. :-( Great bit of kit though.. Im still glad i have it now. Makes a massive difference... :-)

Congratulations, nice bit of kit will really help you out and in my favourite colour too! Must admit I’d be bolting it down after putting floor self levelling compound down. I’d position it as a straight in run in front of the door so the roof beams are parallel to the car roof to help out with the height clearance, that would leave you room at both end of the lockup for other cars.

Very nice Mark, that’s gonna make working a little more easier, especially doing brakes and removing bumpers etc, and what a bargain too, surely a compressor is next on the list, and they are not that expensive, well done mate 👍🏼👍🏼

Nice bit of kit.
Ideal for your unit,and being movable you can move it if needed rather than being stuck in 1 place (or 1 unit)
Can you get higher blocks for cars with more ground clearance.
Once positioned,how about running 2 lines (green tape😉) up the wall behind it, spaced at the outer edge of the lift,to give you a guide when backing a car over it👍

I'm looking at the manual lift versions of these scissor lifts they are slightly lighter duty but seem to be more maneuverable.
Did think that all your boxes and the lift was matching. They should have called it the incredible hulk lift.

A good buy that Mark, you need a roller seat so you will be at perfect height for when the car is on the ramp (unless you already one obviously!).

May need bolting down once you have decided on the final position. Would be ideal if you can centre between the roof trusses.
I think this is a great investment saving yout back and knees great price and I really dont know how you have gone so long without a lift life will be a lot easir from now on

Hi Mark. I would position the car back a bit more as you have the heavy end of the car in the wrong position on the ramps, the weight of the engine could possibly make the car tip forward as you make a lift, looking at how you have the car on the ramps at the moment you need it more to the front of the car to be safe to work on.

Hi mate no someone tried setting up a business doing wheel refurbishment but it didn’t work out so had to sell and lost money on everything
Needed to be a bit further back on the lift there, a lot of weight hanging over the front mate.

Best thing i ever bought, dont agree with it being a bargain because you have already lost so much production by not having one, production should go up 20-30% with it. I'm not a fan of moving them about much better to pick a spot and leave it there like you talked about
