This is how it feels to go from Project Phantasma pilots who will run into you and die to Master of Arena opponents who are menaces in the open map who do crossups and flank maneuvers. At least that's the case until you realize you can choose the map and put them in the carpark where they make for an easy target.
I am only know realizing the thumbnail is a *side view* shot of Nine-Ball. I thought his shoulder was his face the whole time. Honestly the shoulder would make for a badass head part
The first time I got into the Arena this played, and after obliterating Project Phantasma's Arena with the Karasawa I thought it would be a cake walk. I was swiftly defeated by the first opponent in master of Arena, until I realized you could use the Carpark to cheese everyone. Nineball itself wasn't too hard by just blasting it with grenades. Now the true terror was in Armored Core 2 Another Age without human plus, because this time the ol grenade arms strat would not work.
The grenade launcher arms was actually how I beat it, combined with the back part that gives 60% more ammo I think. That was from a few days ago and I'm currently on Silent Line.
Yes that car park was great for those reverse joint ACs that jumped nonstop and would do those erratic jerks when in the air to throw your aim off. I remember one AC in the post game ranks used only the moonlight so the parking garage strategy wasn't as effective on it.
I lobe how the music literally tells you to "destroy Nine-ball."
How did I never notice that until now, lol?
targets verified! commencing hostilities!
15,897 targets verified! Commencing ad cents!
The theme of "DO SOMETHING YOU IDIOT! QUIT PANICKING AND DYING!!" for AC players.
