I love this notebook system and the refills. I get the refills from JetPens. Its an A5/50 pages (they have an A5/40 pages). The paper is very fountain pen friendly which I love because I have a vintage Esterbrook SJ with an oblique nib, writes very wet, dries fast too. I keep a Rhodia notepad on the side with the split in the top left, good for list making. I keep a few of my fountain pens/pencils in the front outside pocket. I keep a blank paper notebook in the inside on top of the pockets that I house post it pads, flags, and business cards in, secure. I take it to every meeting, keep the notebooks all over the house, very lite and portable.
Thanks for this. I was considering one of these for my hobonichi planner. Sidenote: You might want to block out your credit card number. The video can be paused and someone could get the info.
You should review the Derwent Sketching Pencils (literally named with the "Sketching" bit, not to confused with the "Graphic" pencils also made by Derwent) The Derwent Sketching Pencils have a nice smooth graphite core offered in four grades (HB, 2B, 4B) with the cores of the pencils being 4mm thick even for the HB grade, the barrel is round and has a matte black finish with the end having a slanted gray line and shiny black lacquer end cap, and the barrel itself is of a regular thickness despite its abnormally thick 4mm graphite core. I use the HB primarily for drawing specifically line work as it can vary line boldness quite nicely, also the thick core is great at shading when tilted downwards againest the surface of the paper; I have yet to sharpen one with a long point sharpener, but I suspect with a Helix A5 sharpner like you have the pencil can aquire a menacing point.

Thanks. But that number won't do anyone any good. :-)
I've used my cousin Hobo in my Kokuyo for a couple of years, works great ;)

I will. Just ordered. Thanks for the suggestion. :-)
Great video! Thanks 🙂👍🏻
Can this A5 cover accommodate a notebook that is 1/2 inch thick? Or slightly thicker than this? Thank you.
I don't see why not.
The elastic is to keep it closed....
Are you sure it isn't an ancient torture device used to snap across your fingers?
Can a 1-inch thick notebook fit in that?
yes.
Great video!!
Thanks!
