Thank you for these tips. Personally, the fact that budgeting apps add all my expenses automatically is invaluable so I will always use them despite their flaws. I'm in the US and I use mint and the fact that I can't budget until the first of the month is so annoying to me
That's so interesting Monzo is in that list - it is truly more of a bank with an added reporting qualities not your budget app. but I agree doing it on a Google sheet is soo much better I struggled with YNAB, money dashboard etc
