As an Aspiring Geologist, I am happy to say that these are accurate enough for metamorphic rock identification. I do believe you missed some of the uncommon ones which I was looking for but I still thank you for this. You have done well. :)
People always point at my rocks and say “That is granite!” I say “No. That one there is granite. I don’t know what the one you pointed at is. Something a glacier brought to where I collected it.” I am currently trying to learn to identify what I am collecting that people are pointing at.
Bravo , yet I like meteorites , so periodot is that going to have conchoidal fracture? Where can I find mineralogical samples , where is it found on earth ,? 6 inch by 3 inch and preferably flat , blanks for arrowheads , also melt flow textures of fusion crusts ...I presume their silicate glass , I need textures superficial details ,of known metiorite s , ,,,, help plz plZ
