I just watched this video coming from Nicola White's channel. And I have to say I enjoyed this video so much! Thank you for taking us on your journey. I can't believe the amount of marbles you found! I love the African head at the end. It was quite cool. Thank you!
I don't know how on earth you have the discipline to leave so many finds behind & so many rocks unturned...I'd never leave and I'd live on the shore just looking & searching & collecting. What fun - it's so chill & calming too!
You have a time frame of 2, 3 hours max. to mudlark here. And........I have only shed to store my collection and 30 drawers for the treasures. That helps. MB.
This was an especially good lark! So many wonderful finds! The glue bottle has a womanly shape and I can picture the head of a figurine fused to the top instead of the glue applicator. Some of the fancy glass lids look like miniature crowns. Oh the possibilities!
I’m seeing so many old coins that I want to reach into the screen to get at them. Enjoying watching from Canada 🇨🇦 Found Nicole White’s Mudlarking channel and she led me to yours.
I do so enjoy your laid-back style I could watch forever plus the fines are really interesting and I’m thinking of maybe using some of your background shots of the bricks etc in some abstract art, as long as you don’t mind? I was born in the 50s so I remember the glue well. As always looking forward to the next long video.❤
Thnx for your kind words. You can use screen shots from my videos as long as YT does not mind. For details contact me through my channel. Hit the bulldog, top left, and you can mail me. MB.
I couldn't help but think about bringing a shovel and turning over a few shovels full of rocks and stuff just to see what would turn up. Why did you leave the black dog head at 38:17? A lot of things you passed over that I would of taken, but that's perfectly fine.
Digging is not allowed and that is fine. When you start digging, when and where can you ever stop? I let erosion do the digging and washing for me. The black dog's head was too damaged for me. MB.
I know you saw the green cats eye marble, at 15:05 as you were reviewing your video. It was a sneaky one hiding under the big stone. At 26:53 I spotted a small cork top bottle under some rocks. Is that what you're wondering if we saw it? The ceramic ball that you found at 36:00 looks like the Northern Mudlarks said is a weight for a cast net. Was that a button sitting upside down and top left near where you picked up the twisted braclet? I'm quite envious as I am not near an old river shore that will have the old bits and bobs like you, Nicola and Si are able to find. This is why I love watching your videos. I'm exploring vicariously through all of ya'lls videos 😃👍
Giving to your wife who can use crafts for stuff arts. 🙂 like tiles & lids and any small gems. You miss see marble & button on your left side when you skip over to look other place. Please review your video again. Please check under the rock, you never know what there hide that you not notice it. 😊
@@MudBagger406406406 yeah. It's okay you will go back there again and search again. 🙂 what a great find. I hope you enjoy your adventure and your journey search finds. 😁
Fantastic lark I truly appreciate the longer time you spent with us! You are very knowledgeable of the items and history of your finds. What a blessing to be able to share this amazing foreshore, and all of the contents you have found over the years. I really enjoy watching what you do . This is a special place for you to find your marbles and other fun items. Thanks so much MB for taking us along with you. Have a fabulous week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
OK,so this is a fine example of your foreshore. I have a bit of an idea where you are,but will not say here,as it is a treasure trove. I must ask you, there is the love token, marked SJ. Money is no object. I would be honored to aquire this, and give it to my dearest friend,Sara Johnson,we celebrate our 20th year as best friends. Simon Bourne found a silver ring with the same initials,I aquired it and my friend Sara loves it dearly! Any chance of me being allowed to aquire this token?
Ohh! 26:30,the glue bottle!!! I remember those from my schoolboy days in the 1970’s. Mucilage,we called it here in USA,with the funny India rubber nipple! A hide glue, made from horse hooves and rawhide. Don’t see that type of glue anymore these days. The horses are happy about this😅
Nice finds friend ❤️❤️❤️❤️🗝️

Yes I remember Gloy Glue when I was a child in the 60s. Think you missed a dice at 36.37 ish. Lovely finds.
Just so nice to tag along. The water sounds delightful.
I believe they should call you The Marble King 😊.
Always enjoy your videos
Great video again. You can’t hear me yelling from Melbourne Australia? There’s a marble! There’s a button!! 😂. You’re doing a great job ❤
Sure I hear you. Thnx for the tips. MB.

Glue from the 1950’ss and any years thereafter! A sign that school was almost starting!

I will have a look at it. MB.
Thanks.
😃👍🤩
Hmm,at 19:15,the jar lid,interesting,could it be an American thing,circa WW2?
These big jar lids were very commonly used here for canning vegetables.Try google with: weckfles. MB.

Love the lion playing trumpet and the royal lady in the roundup. Is it a pendant?
It had a needle at the back, so it is a pin or brooch. MB.
Great finds so you just look for marbles.
I love to find marbles, but I look for everything. MB.

I saw the green marble as well. We were probably both yelling at the screen at the same time.
The tinkling as the water recedes us absolutely magical.
you van call Apeldoorn
😁
Ha, that was a long time ago. MB.

I miss a lot. Never mind. Must go back and miss a lot again. Being there and mudlark there is all that counts. MB.
