Wow, you really get the most out of that instrument. What a lovely song.
Thanks!
Beautiful! Such a serene sound and nostalgic mood.
Thanks for your comment! I'm glad you liked it. It's a beautiful melody.
Got a lyre harp a couple of weeks ago and this is my progress so far. What better song to get started on this instrument than the song Fairytale by Omnia, originally played on a lever harp.
My wife’s gonna love this. Takes you away to another time and place/another realm. You’ve only been practicing a couple weeks at this point? Impressive.
Yea it´s a beautiful melody, and the sound the lyre makes is incredible. If you play fingerstyle guitar it´s quite easy to pick up. Thanks for subscribing btw, really appreciate it!
@@martinschillaci of course. Your stuff is fantastic. I had my wife listen to it and she loves it. Says it takes her to Avalon.
@@andrewwabik5125 That's really nice, tell her it's very much appreciated! The song is by Omnia if you want to listen to the original, it's really beautiful. The poem they recite over it is by Lewis Carroll I believe.
Wow, lovely music. Where did you find the sheet music/tabs?😊
Thanks! I played it by ear. There is sheet music for this on MuseScore though: musescore.com/user/929991/scores/468661
Let me know if you see the comment. I think sometimes RUclips flags external links.
@@martinschillaci thank you!! I bought my First lyre and I am waiting for It but I would like to learn this Amazing Song. By the way, Is It difficult to learn to play the lyre? Cheers from Italy 😊
@@manuelam.4374 I found it to be easy, but I also play the guitar and violin so I have a head start. Compared to those two instruments the lyre is certainly easier.
@@martinschillaci Ok, nice to know. I played in the past violin and Guitar too but I had an accident and broke my left arm and It never was the same as before, so I Will try the lyre since you don't Need to put such a strong pressure on the left hand.
