Your choice is your choice and I respect that. I love my mother and no matter how old I get, I will always will be her baby. But you have to develop a sense of humor. I've been told over the years that life is no joke. I respectfully disagree because if you don't wake up and walk out your front door with a sense of humor you are going to have a VERY difficult day with all the nonsense that's going on today.
Understand that there was a purpose to these jokes between Black men. Back in the day they had to learn to keep their cool in the middle of demeaning comments by white folk. To lose their cool could mean death. That’s why the one who got angry was the loser of the Yo mama jokes and/or “playing the dozens.”
