Replacing your camera with the phone? Sure, no doubt, but jumping through so many hoops all to avoid carrying a laptop. I just don't get it. Grab the laptop, put it in a bag and done -- no glasses, no stylus, no relying on a good wireless connection, etc, etc. Keep a dedicated charging setup at home and the studio. Seems like a lot of complexity for a very simple problem. If it works for you though, that's great. Ty for the video regardless!
What type of glasses are those? I have been wondering when this would become an option for a long time. AR glasses are the future of mobile music creation for sure!
Jon, I hate to say it because you seem happy with the setup, but although the image is ok, the sound of your voice!!, man, it's like it's recorded on an old walkman ;-) But most importantly what you revealed in the end whit this virtual glasses is that Vision Pro will be a real move forward in terms of usage and form factor for solo work.
Love the update. I was looking for something like parsec myself: I want to access my studio PC from my balcony (so I can also work outside aswell) 😃 I must say that the sony setup looked way better (more consistant, less sharpening), but I do like that the phone offers that tele look. I know, this is not the time to critique the image quality, but I'm happy to see that you've found yourself a solution you enjoy. Nonetheless, I am convinced that a 200-300€, used, aps-c setup will deliver a better looking image
I think I would rather use some type of notebook computer or even a desktop with a larger screen for the remote computer. Either Mac, Windows, or Linux. Much better user experience.

Es gibt welche, die funktionieren auch auf Geräten, die nicht dezidiert einen Stylus unterstützen. Hatte einen für 15 für mein älteres iPad. Der Unterschied in der Bildqualität ist deutlich. Aber es halt die Frage, wie viel Wert man bereit ist, für die Quali zu investieren. Am Ende macht es vermutlich wenig Unterschied bei den Zuschauern.
What’s the point in buying a laptop if you never use it as a laptop? You leave it closed on a desk and don’t bring it anywhere. Why not just get a cheaper Mac mini if you are never going to use the display and keyboard or take it anywhere?
du könntest auch anstatt des samsung fold auch ein samsung galaxy tab benutzen, kommt mit einen stift und hat auch eine gute bildschirm größe. das s6 lite ist sogar relativ günstig und hat eine leistung die ganz ok ist

You really did not just say the M1 is the most cost efficient most poweful computer on the planet rofl. Come on man. I returned mine because it was a downgrade to my i9 lol. I'm really not tryna have the dumb age old apple vs pc argument because idc but the statement itself, the hardware is both not the best and not the most cost efficient lol. I can build a PC 1/4 the price of an M1 and beat it hardware wise. Mac OS is cool and I love that ecosystem but I personally could not justify the price for a downgrade.

I know you probably need the money and that’s why you’re selling the camera but the cell phone camera just is not cutting it, the picture quality is nowhere near what your regular camera was in the image is too soft in your video. Does not look professional at all. Sorry to say.
Does it make any difference to you? He's still a decent guy with knowledge and something to show. IDGAFOS about the video quality until it's as good as this one.

If you don’t tell the creators, your opinion, they have no idea how to mold or contacts to their audience. I’m sure. Did you order the glasses on Amazon and paid the import duties? What price was that in the end? I am in Europe as well.

Definitely notice the camera difference, but as an occasional vlogger now, I don't blame you for wanting to recoup some of that gear cost.
