I love it when celebrities are vocal about their lows. Discussing mental health is so taboo in our (the Black) community. Seeking therapy is a sign of weakness in our community.
Having someone like Chloe speak on it helps to lessen the stigma and, hopefully, encourages someone to seek help to overcome their battles.
I love her! She's such a beautiful girl and seems to have a sweet spirit!

Tamron is stellar at what she does. I appreciated her sensitivity yet firmness during the interview. She knew how to dig for answers without digging too far into her personal life, but the questions were asked brilliantly so that Chloe could get out exactly what she was trying to articulate. Loved this!
I was just thinking this too. Tamron is such a lovely and effervescent woman, she always brings the best out of the people she interviews and she knows how to uplift black women!! Love her.

That’s true I wish I was on the tameron hall show . I have depression as well as sometimes it’s hard because of everything I’ve been through but I am starting to write a book about my life and how I’ve overcame so much to even to get to this point to where I am graduating college with an associate’s degree in liberal arts and science . It hasn’t been an easy walk in the park but I’m almost to the finish line and I also took a chance at the Apollo as well dancing ❤. I wish and hope I can share my story.

Chlöe will get her stardom naturally because she is Beautiful inside and out, she has raw talent in every single way most artist don’t really have, she is able to connect with a lot of different people and is true to her self.
In several interviews over the years, Chloe has mentioned that she struggled with having self esteem, confidence, and body image issues. There may well have been other things going on, but knowing this at least this, the inspiration behind her album shouldn't be surprising.
This young lady is phenomenal...it always amazes me how gorgeous women have self esteem issues.. this baby is a force to be reckoned with! I am soooo proud of her!!!!

And you always do your makeuoe and put effort” they would say. I do it so there is something for me to look forward to. So that I find some sort of light inside of me to help me push forward. Can’t judge the book by looking at its cover.❤

I understand what you mean by "getting it together", but mental wellness, like physical wellness, is a constant habit that has to be worked on daily. As a young woman in the public eye, she's being bombarded with so many critics, let alone the internal critic we all have to battle. I pray that she is able to continue to work on her mental wellness and is surrounded by loving and supportive people.

I'm so glad she's talking about mental health highs and lows. I understand being in a certain spotlight and after the lights are off you can feel sad and lonely. Sometimes people are so intimidated by your success and your shine that they walk away and leave you wondering what did I do.

I loved this show..Tamara I'm F Blk dark 69 a Oakland native and I love you and your guest. You're a journalist..you've been in the reporting industry for years I watch you on MSNBC. The hat lady was funny. I take pride in myself and most Black people do. I believe in being clean..keeping yourself together. I don't dress to kill everyday..but I have clothes...she strikes me as the kind of Black that look down at those who don't have want she have.
