I think, it inherited some of its bad-ness from descisions in the netter seasons. Season 1 and 2 gained a lot of their awesome moments by making descisions, that fehlt good storywise but didn't make much sense in the overall canon, like IT or not. Din learns to put away his differences and trust the Jedi. Awesome. Grogu completes His Journey and finds a master again. Nice. Too bad, that this implicates, that Grogu ist murdered in 10 years by Kylo Ren. Din claims the Darksaber and hast to learn to weild it, possibly to leave His beeing a loner behind and become a leader. Awesome. Top bad, that this kills Bo Kataans whole arc. Gideon hast a plan, that involves cloning and the reemergence of the Empire, which seems to build a bridge to Snoke/Exegol? Great. Too bad, that it contratdicts Filonis plans for Ahsoka,Thrawn and the continuation of Rebels. So Season 3 has to awkwardly backpaddle in all of this plotpoints. How hard would it be for the Empire to mass produce some actually effective powered armor? You don't have to turn the Storm Troopers into full on Astartes, but you could get them pretty close...
I really wish First Order storm troopers had been Astartes type super soldiers. Watching the New Republic and new Jedi having to deal with legions of Astartes type troopers enforcing compliance on worlds would have been awesome, and it would have shown that the First Order was taking what the Empire did and improving on it.
The Empire didn't bother with it. Stormtroopers could shoot accurately at point blank range, which is the range from which they'd be murdering civilians anyway. Any population that's not cowed will be bombed by TIE bombers. Any population that manages to shoot down TIE bombers will be bombed from orbit. Most planets have no way to take out a Star Destroyer.
Pretty hard when their focus was on space superiority - Star Destroyers, Super Star Destroyers, and both Death Star projects. Stormtroopers didn't need to have awesome armor with the republic's most effective ground troops either usurped (the Clones) or practically extinct (the Jedi). They just needed to show up in numbers to remind people that there was a ship in orbit that could glass their planet if they stepped out of line.

2:28 Dude you unintentionally just created an intro to a banging Metal song - just need a huge drop and kick after grogu googoo's..... This is the way!
Loved the Oldboy shoutout. That corridor sequence is one of the best fight scenes in movie history
Would singing “Ooh, baby I love your way” at a Mandalorian get me a date, or get me dead? Maybe both? Next on the playlist: “You can leave your helmet on.”
Krang references are always welcomed
I have to admit that was a great one.
The blink and mis it Starbuck joke! Love it!
I can't not see Carl Weathers and think, "Now you've got yourself a stew going."
The Krang reference had me dying though!
I honestly enjoyed this season. Especially loved more focus being on Bo-Katan, love her!
Yeah, same! Really enjoyed this latest season. Not sure why there’s so much hate over it.
@@AnthonyHortin probably because people have expectations of a somewhat good series.
The writing is so god awfull it's painfull to watch. Well of course only if you actually use that thing between your ears.
Pedro pascal couldn't be bothered to show up even for one day after he layed eyes on that shitty script.
The action is also so bad.
You can enjoy this absolute garbage. I like some pretty bad things myself.
But i don't wonder why people don't like an obviously bad thing i enjoy like you do.
I hope i could help.
@@spane81 Holy smokes. Thats quite a take. Wonder why Star Wars Fans get a bad rep these days.
Prefered this season over the previous one too. I want more focus towards Mandalorians!
Because people like Westwindgeist here who think that disliking something and heavily criticising it makes them a higher form of being
Mandalorians were secretly Unkandan Knuckles all along
7:14 Swingers reference!!! Awesome!!
The Spaceballs insert 😂
