- Sinelizwe Fakade is smart, not because of his master’s degree in agriculture, but rather because of how he gets things done. Working for Grain SA in the Eastern Cape, he grew the number of farmers he was helping from just a few hundred to 3 500 who were planting 3000ha of maize - in just three years! But Sinelizwe Fakade wanted to be the one doing the farming. So he went to visit his old friend and mentor, the legendary farmer Rob Farrington, who agreed to help. And the rest, as the saying goes, is history. Today, with the help of his brother, mother and tough Afrikaner farm manager, Sinelizwe plants almost 1 000ha of crops.
This is truly inspirational ,many factors need to be highlighted in his success
1 growing up with farming experience from a young age and cultivating a good work ethic
2 relevant education and exposure to new methodology
3 taking guidance from the right mentor
4 a vision and passion for farming with a long term outlook
wish him more success in the future !
Key points!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I did not know this show existed. Thank you
She asks, "Can I talk to him alone?"
The guy in blue shirt says, "Yes."
Poor guy didn't know what to do afterwards. He just stares at huge tire and looks under the tractor over and over again during the interview. Lmao!🤣
I thought I was the only one who noticed 😂😂😂😂
The subtitles made the programs more beneficial and easier to follow. Good job.
His energy is out of this world 👌🏼👌🏼
This show is inspiring. Well done young men of SA.
Wow! I'm blown away. This is a wake up call for me. Thanks Mbulazi & your hosts. 👏👏👏
Impressed! Also so great that he is involved in equipping other farmers as well. Keep up the good work Sinelizwe
Can we please have more educational information about planting crops. Not only about farmers experience rather lessons about planting.
May God bless this young man..

I’m very pleased to see young farmers getting into farming however in the future I’d like to see Africans manufacturing their own machinery rather than patronising American/ western companies.

Just new to your channel, watching from the UK, try using English for a wider audience. Though your videos have sub tittles,it would be great if you spoke English.

So educational and useful, where can I watch full episodes on dstv and at what time
I would like to know what you are saying but failed, looks educative on kulima. You guys speak almost the same language like us here in Uganda though i can't pick all of it. Big up.
That’s interesting, the farmer is actually speaking IsiXhosa my home lingo 😂 then the interviewer is speaking IsiZulu. These 2 and 2 more are spoken by a group of people called AmaNguni, the are other main groups - all these total up to 14 languages. What languages are close to these in Uganda?
Khula mfana omncane ukudla kufuneka izinsuku zonke.
Sibonge kumama
What is the guy at the back doing?😂
Very inspiring from these young black farmers. I so wish we do it our own way. It doesn't mean if we were inspired by the whites to farm then we must dress like them. The dress code is offensive to me. A sigh of oppression ave ngikuzonda lokugcokisa kwalamabhunu.
😂😂une anger wena leave this beautiful dress code Tshini
If you are planting maize lets say yellow, where do you sell it?
Nwk...which is found mostly in North West.
Senwes
Arid portions of Africa will benefit greatly from SWRT Solutions subsurface membrane technology which is presently being tested in Kenya. This water and nutrient saving technology is delivering 5 to 7 times more crop on small holder farms.
Where do I find you in social media bhuti?
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👌🏾
Have you explored commissioning an episode on urban farming -starting a garden from your backyard space with intention to be a food supplier?
👏👏👏👏
