I need to load some 2x4x10 wood so folding both rear and passenger seats down will be perfect.
But does it lay down completely flat???
Yes, as long as your driver/passenger seats are not tilted back too far.
@@mtbpat5254 flat leveled with the flooring on the trunk?
Yup
@@choops2373
It’s not technically “flat” like in a wagon/Honda Fit.
...there is either a “hump”....or the back seats form an “angle”.
The true test of “flat” is to be able to push in a big heavy box.
can anyone help-out with this question?
Firstly, thanks for the video. What would be effective length after folding? Can I fit 80" bed frame in the trunk. Your help would be appreciated. Thanks
I’m not totally sure but I’ve seen people maneuver things in excess
Gonna stuck out but will stay put
Thanks brother 🤝

Could you push the seats into the trunk for a flat surface?
can anyone help-out with this question?
yes, but you need a hacksaw to cut out the diagonal metal bracing that is behind the seats to increase stiffness of the cab. But with the right tools anything is possible.
@@silentepsilon888 Will there be a problem with normal seating if I cut out the metal bracing?
Thank youu
I have a 2003 Corolla and it doesn't have the buttons to push before pulling seats down. My trunk lock is stuck so I'm trying to access my trunk. I tried another method where you reach behind the seat but it's a really tight squeeze for me- thank you
No problem
I cannot get my arm in the small space behind my seat. Is there a trick to pulling the seat out far enough to get my arm back there? Just hoping there's another way to access it
Well I’m not sure. Can anyone else chime in?
Thanks for trying to help but one of my friends was able to cram his arm between the back seats to reach the inside release button. My seats are down now. I appreciate you trying to help
Next time just take the seat off. I have an 06 Corolla S
Can you recline the back seat
can anyone help out with this question?
My car seats don't have the buttons. I know the seats go down, but forgot how and I don't have my book.
Open the hood. In the engine compartment are black belts. Pull on the closer one and the rear seat should unlock. I haven't fig'd out how to unlock the left seat yet.
I can't lay mine down.... It's like it's broken. I lift it up but when I push it to go down feels like it's stuck/ frozen ughhh
Did you took the button piece thing out because it wont fit in after its springs locked in
@thisgirls1718 sorry to hear that.

The 2006 Corolla doesn't have the buttons on the seat
The rear trunk might have "pull levers".
What is the name of the pin which you are pulling up.
can anyone help-out with this question?
A cant do thst on my corrolla
I want to get a 65” tv in my trunk by laying down my rear seat I drive a Corolla as well
did it fit?
Did it work?
I Have a Toyota Corolla "VERSO" which apparently doesn't exist when it comes to finding info. The rear 2 seats fold into the floor with no problem, The three 2nd row seats are my problem, only the middle seat will fold flat, the others have a latch/lever at the top and a pull strap on the side. No matter which I pull first I can still only get them half folded. I half tried with the seat fully back and fully forward. ZILCH! Anybody who's heard of the (phantom) VERSO, please feel free to chime in.
@pickles6993 I've never heard of that

theres a little string on the side of the seat that you need to pull and it'll fully fold down. hopefully you figured this out in the past 2 years lol!
yeah no top knobs
Really?
Huh, did you check your trunk? Some older models have little levers next to the right and left speakers that release the seats.
@@mtbpat5254 it's at the trunk at each side
@@renaerodney4773 I don't see it either on the left or right
what year toyota is this
did you ever figure it out?
@jasper426 LOL
@@DIYPinto What the fuck kind of answer was that?
the ads is longer than the video
