@@dreamsidra The reason goats are castrated is to give there male goat a companion when the females are ready to kid or when you have to wait to breed to give em a break. Weathers also make excellent pets for someone that that doesn't wanna breed or milk goats. The goat in the video is now no longer in any pain and he's living in a pet home with 4 other pals.

@@yb1386 you put a band around there balls and they'll fall off after about 6-8 weeks after around 2 weeks there no longer fertile. You can find the bands at most farm stores or in the description. It can also be done with a California bander or by a vet surgical.
If you have something tied around your finger and your finger starts to feel numb that's what I imagine it feels like for them. There testicles are sensitive so it does hurt a bit but then it gets numb and a few days after they won't feel it and eventually the testicles die. The first day or two they will they will be in pain and lay around but it's only for a day or two then they're back to there normal self. After about 6-8 weeks when they fall off you can dispose of them in the garbage, or keep them lol
Do you give them pain meds? It seems like it would feel like getting kicked in the balls for 2 straight days. A girl kicking me there once was enough to have me laying on the floor. Getting them squeezed for days sounds awful
Unfortunately the only way to get pain meds is through a vet, livestock vets are also very difficult to find. I did give him vitamin b which helps with stress.

I felt so bad for the poor boy but he was back to his normal self the next day and the vitamin b paste I gave him helps with the stress. His brother that I castrated later showed absolutely no signs of pain after castration.
