Isnt it more of an ancient near east styled choir, hymn or something? You can hear a similar background "azan" sound in their song called "ahura mazda/angra mainu", and i dont think its azan at all. Just my opinion.

However, honestly no one really knows what the hell went on nor do we truly know when in terms ov a time-frame. All we can do is guess and create theories that best help us feel at ease or perhaps that we are more sophisticated & advanced. But even that could be wrong. I am not even sure why we do this since not every one agrees on a end theory. And some get fairly pompous about it.

For all those who do not know Enuma Elish is Babilonian epic story about creation. It is very interesting mythology. It has even some little similarities with creation according to Genesis. This band has a great music, but I don´t agree with the name of the band and other themes. But, God created us as His icons, as free persons (prosopona), so it is personal decision to go to geena (hell) or to choose Love in Heavenly Empire (vasilie uranou). Greetings to all people! Amazing... They used something in the chorus not all musicians can figure out the origin of it... Anyway... Empty heads fighting over colors, ethnicities.... religions... Etc shut up and enjoy this piece of art
It sounds like "Rabbana" at the beginning of the chorus (means Oh God / Ya Allah in Arabic). The sound actually mimics a Muslim chanting verses from Koran. But I'm sure it is not a Koran reading. Just the sound.
This type of music is written by people like me, who need some sort of outlet for the darkness inside. That part that sees the corruption and hypocrisy of the world and is sickened by it. Rather than let it do what it demands and begin slaughtering everyone in sight, we write or listen to things like this.

You should look for Melechesh! They make Black Metal with Arabesque Folk musik and sing about Mesopotamian/ Sumerian/Asyrian mithology and mysticism.
